Sierra vacations was easy to book rental and were very friendly/polite. I would probably book through them again. However, the condo it self wasn't that great for the cost per night.. $230.. Ouch. For $70 more u can stay at the Northstar Ritz. We chose this condo as dogs are allowed. Service was not too good as when we arrived at 1am the water wasn't turned on. We found the main valve after 30min and able to turn on. Dead ants were on bedroom floors and in bathtub. Location was good as it was only a 10 min walk to the village, but not too great if you have a lot of stuff to carry back and forth to the condo as parking lot is a little walk up from the condo. I rate 2.5 out of 5 stars.

We stayed here to ski over President's Day weekend. The location is great - super short walk to shuttle stop and less than 5 minute shuttle ride to get to the village. It was also the only dog-friendly rental we could find within Northstar. We loved the wood burning fireplace. The condo is clean, though there are a few small things that could be fixed to make it more comfortable (hot water faucet in the bathroom needs some adjustment, it was difficult to control the heat so overnight we were either too hot or too cold). Reservations, check in and check out were very easy. Our only service complaint was that only 1 (almost all used) roll of toilet paper was provided (for a condo that is supposed to sleep 6), so we had to go out and get our own. Overall, the unit could use some updating, but it's a reasonable compromise given the great location.

This condo was very clean and was in a great location. Brought my son and a friend for bike riding at Northstar. Everyone was happy! Was a very relaxing vacation.

It is about a five-minute walk from 5030 Gold Bend to the Northstar Village. The shuttle service is outstanding. Just call and the driver are ready & waiting - great when family members want to hit the slopes at different times. No need for a car once you arrive, but a permit is required to park in the condo lot (which we never received). The two-story unit is a walk from the parking lot, so be prepared to haul your luggage and equipment. I called the office to request the wifi password and was told it was not available in this unit. We did find an Ethernet cable, which allowed us to work from the road. The master bedroom bed was awful - soft, squishy and uncomfortable. There were dishes, cookware and coffee filters in the kitchen, but it was missing little things most condos provide such as sugar. The bathroom had hand soap, but no bar/body soap for shower. The downstairs sliding glass door was unlocked when we arrived. A sign on the fridge said there would be an extra charge if we did not run the dishwasher, start a load of towels and take out all trash before departure. I would not stay here again.

I had an internship with a friend at Lake Tahoe, so we decided to rent this unit out. Sierra was very helpful throughout the whole process. Our condo was very clean, and was perfect for the two of us. It's a 10 minute walk to the village and there are bike trails behind the condo. Overall, I had an awesome experience while staying here...nothing but good things to say.
