The Ramparts is located just inside the town walls of Berwick-upon-Tweed and is a lovely Georgian first floor apartment which has been decorated to a high standard. All prices are inclusive of the booking fee. The "Min. Per Night" prices quoted are based on the weekly rental price, they are not applicable for short breaks. See our short break policy or ask for further details.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

been going to berwick for years , but always stayed in the campsite , but after this holiday i'll be going back here . lovely house, great location , short walk to the town, 2 mins . everything was more than we could ask for ,the kids loved the house aswell which was a bonus

Searching for property to rent in Berwick on the internet I came across Sykes, saw 'The Ramparts' and realised what a great location it was! (I was raised in the town). A supermarket, the Brewer's arms with superb meals and the shops were merely two minutes away. The Elizabethan walls, what must be one of the finest town walks in the UK for both interest and scenic beauty, actually on the doorstep and fine beaches about 10 minutes with sheltered bays, sand, cliffs and rock-pools, great for those with an interest in natural history or just lazing about! The River Tweed with it's bridges and castle and walks is also a must and again a few minutes walk from the house.
Booking with Sykes was easy, someone was there to meet us with a warm welcome (even in November) and we parked outside the property with no problem.
The property was purpose built as two flats and we had the top one with great views. Very warm and snug, very clean and spacious (ample room for 6 adults) with everything you could need.
To sum up, the location of the property was superb, the amenities on the doorstep, parking easy at the front door, extremely comfortable and in one of the most historic and scenic towns in the country. Excellent service from Sykes and the owners.
What didn,t we like? We loved everything and really recommend this property and location for families as a seaside holiday, couples who just want to get away for peace and quiet, lovers of natural history and history, people of all ages (including teenagers - some good night life) everyone really though disabled may find difficulty with the stairs as it is an upstairs flat. Going back again this year! -

We loved this holiday. We were very lucky with great sunny weather. The flat is at the heart of the town in walking distance of pubs restaurants and the supermarket. We were very comfortable - a real home from home.
