The Solstraalen (Sunshine in Swedish) is a building with two units, that can be rented together or separately. They however do not communicate with it other from within the units.
The Solstraalen #3 has a full size bed, a twin bed, and a small kitchen corner equipped with a fridge, a double hot plate set, and some kitchen utensils. There are no kitchen sink in the unit, so dishes have to be done in the bathroom sink. The bathroom has a privacy door. There is a small safe for your valuables and security bars on windows. The locations was perfect for me- close to the beach, jungle path walk to the yoga institute, and virtually in town. I brought my own hammock since I knew I wanted one and was told the unit did not provide it. The only sink is in the bathroom, which is inconvenient, especially if you use the blender, you have to wash it in the shower, but I knew that beforehand, so I'm not really complaining. The key was a source of frustration, it took some patience to get the door to lock from the outside, and to unlock from the inside. There are some very friendly cats who wanted to share all of my meals, and attempted to dart insoles if I left the door open. There were a couple of very hard rains that caused the roof to leak. Pretty disappointed with the kitchen implements provided. No corkscrew, dirty cheap plates and mugs, smelly plastic cups. Overall, not a bad

Love the location and setting. The rental is relatively clean and comfortable however it needs to be better stocked for cooking. Very few utensils and supplies.
