Simple but yet all amenities are available. It has two bedrooms with a/c (optional with extra charge), one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchenette, living room, terrace for al fresco dining and a hammock to relax in the shade of tall trees. There is pool access to be shared with three other units on the property. Can be rented along with Costa House in the same location.
You will be at a 5-minute walk from the Yoga Institute, and a 10-minute walk from the surfing beach of Guiones. A 15-minute walk will take you to the main tourist area of Guiones beach with restaurants, bars, internet cafes, doctor, bank, grocery store and more.

The house is good with enought amenities to stay, the pool is always alone which is good but the property manager told us about the water cuts while we were driving. She would have told us before; if she did we wouldn't have booked the house. The water cuts were from 6 pm until 8 am during the high season.

The water situation in Nosara is not year-round and started about the time you arrived, so there was really no way for us to let you know prior to your booking. And this year was exceptional... There has been a drought in Nosara and most of the Nicoya Peninsula, with very little rain during the wet season, then none from December to April Even though our water company did its best to get water all over town during this high season, the town was full, every house rental and hotel occupied, a lot of water was being used... and by April there was none left under ground, and water had to be cut off to allow the wells to refill overnight.
We are sorry for the inconvenience this caused you and hope you will be back to Nosara in the future. -

We really enjoyed our time at Maple Sun. It's perfect for those looking for a less expensive but still nice place to stay. The outside living space is great and the pool is lovely. With the heat we had (end of Feb) we spent most of our time between the porch, the pool and the beach. Ac was pretty nice at that time of year. The walk to the beach is easily 10-15 minutes, but we rented boards at Coconut Harry's so we didn't have to haul boards back up the hill more than once a day. Maple Sun is definitely a little out of the way, but we enjoyed our walks to and from the beach and town. If you don't like walking though - get a rental car! Our only complaint was that the fridge didn't keep food very cold, but all else was great.

The best part of this place is the location. Nosara is an amazing destination. The next best part is the price. You can't beat it to have your own home for a week. Very clean, has everything you need. The pool is great too. My one recommendation is to alone people to use the pool in the evening. Other than that it's awesome.
