Villa La Estancia is a new 5 star ocean front resort located on beautiful Flamingos Beach in Nuevo Vallarta (15-20 miles north of Puerto Vallarta). Our 2 bedroom, 3 bath Villa features over 2100 square feet of interior space and a beautiful 300 square foot terrace over looking the ocean. One of our most memorable stays on Banderas Bay

This was a fabulous location. We came in on the tail end of a hurricane that threatened the area and were prepared to adjust our expectations accordingly. Ah...but no need! Everything and everyone was top notch. The property is gorgeous, the unit was beautiful, expansive, and well equipped, and the service level of the staff excellent. The owners were prompt in there communications, extremely helpful on several special needs requests, and made a significant contribution to the success of our stay by providing helpful local knowledge about the staff, the property, and the surrounding area restaurants and attractions. Can't wait to go back next Spring.

CanadaExquisite, Relaxing and Heavenly Bliss

We stayed at Villa la Estancia in Dave and Lori Delgado's suite in June 2011 for some quiet celebrations and getaway time. Their suite promised that and so much more. The 2 bedroom 3 bathroom suite was exceptionally well appointed with granite counters, stainless steel appliances and neutral tone furnishings.
The bathroom came equipped with 2 bathrobes and slippers, L'Occitane Toiletries from Provence including a sewing kit and shower cap. The double sinks and vanity provided the right amount of privacy without "bumping" elbows. The walk in shower is bliss! along with the evening turn down service including filling the jacuzzi with bubbles, fresh flower petals and a token dessert for two.
I spoke with a couple of owners and elected to pick Dave and Lori since their upbeat attitude, helpful manner, suggestions and timely responses assisted me greatly in planning our holiday. The views from their balcony is lovely with the ocean breeze wafting in as you settle into your lounger whilst sipping your amaretto flavoured tequila.
The 3rd level balcony is intimate enough to the grounds and yet high enough to take in the ocean views. Sometimes when you are too high, you lose the enjoyment and intimate affinity with the well manicured landscaping and pool areas and you feel distant and out of touch with the grounds. The Delgado's suite was the right balance!
Oscar at the Concierge desk is always pleasant, professional and ever helpful. Leon is always welcoming, courteous and instinctively knows what you need. At the end of the day, be it arriving home via taxi or bus, he is the ever diplomatic but warm butler who greets and welcomes you home by opening the door of the resort lobby for you.
Dare I say you feel pampered every time you step into Villa la Estancia, with it's coolness and elegant interiors? There is quiet efficiency that emanates from the lobby staff to it's cleaning staff. All to be commended and accolades to be paid to Carlos, the Operations Manager.
If you seek a little more action and festivities, you can slip next door to their sister resort and enjoy the more animated activities and clientele. Thereby enjoying the best of both worlds. Note, you are allowed to participate in the sister resort activities but the Villa del Palmar clients are unable to reciprocate to Villa la Estancia thereby guaranteeing Villa la Estancia's exclusivity.
Having traveled extensively, I can unequivocally endorse the Delgado's suite. Dave establishes relationships and if you are seeking a vacation rental that delivers and one that hopefully you wish to continue coming back time and time again, the Delgado's suite is the one to opt for. -

Very comfortable, very easy, terrific staff, good food, very good beach, excellent pool. Wonderful views. We had two condo's with nine women and we all had a great time. No hassles. The staff makes this place really enjoyable. Plenty of room. Very clean inside and out.

Our vacation at VLE was the perfect prescription for two albertans who really needed to get away from the craziness that is the Calgary oilpatch and not to mention the minus 32 celsius January weather.
In our opinion, VLE is the most luxurious resort in PV. We had every convenience available to us. My husband and I felt completely at home (sans snowbanks and daily frostbite...) and every time we visit, our VLE family grows. -

We sought relaxation, comfort and location and we were rewarded with all of that and more. We are quite familiar with the Neuvo Vallarta area but this was our first time at Villa La Estancia. The service was exceptional from check-in to check-out; we loved that any request we had was met with ease and timely resolution. The on-site restaurant was fantastic quality with exceptional, no-rush service as well. We enjoyed the pools, the pool bar and the grounds very much. August was a quiet month - just what we hoped for.
The Delgado's villa was very spacious, perfectly clean and simply lovely. The spa was certainly the true bonus and it was enjoyed very much during our stay. We will be back! -

We had an excellent time and loved the condo and the resort! The view from the balcony was amazing. We loved the smell of the ocean coming right into our bedroom! The resort was beautiful. We spent hours each day in the pool and received the star treatment from Manuel and other staff. Our girls keep saying that want to go back- just to have more drinks at the pool bar! I see a return trip in our future!

Upon arriving at the location we were greeted warmly by the staff. The concierge and bellboy were so very helpful at making us feel welcome. They answered all of our questions and directed us to our room. The home is beautiful! Everything is pristine and extremely comfortable. We were four adults and never felt cramped. The air conditioning is wonderful as well as the rest of the amenities. The bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious. We enjoyed drinks out on the very large patio overlooking the pool and the beach. The swimming pool is awesome! The location is perfect with the various jacuzzi pools right on the beach! The water is so warm you can just walk right in. The staff is so friendly and willing to cater to your every need. We used the gym facilities and found them first rate. The bartender provided 2 for 1 drinks during happy hour. We also went over to Villa del Palmar Flamingos property next door for some meals. We also walked to Bucerias - a 25 minute walk on the beach to a lovely little town with an open air swap meet. They had better prices here than in PV. We were able to catch a bus outside Villa del Palmar that took us to "El Centro" of Puerto Vallarta. Upon comparing the Villa Estancia to the other properties in Puerto Vallarta, we discovered that there was not comparison. The other places are either Timeshares or all Inclusives. They were not as clean and were very noisy and crowded. Villa Estancia shows the pride of the ownership, since each condo is individually owned. This was the most relaxing vacation we've ever taken. We would certainly recommend to friends and would certainly come back. At first we were a bit apprehensive about traveling within Mexico because of the recent violence reports, but everything here is very secure. We felt very safe because it is a gated community and there plenty of security. Without a doubt, this is the place to stay!

Our family stayed at this resort and villa in March 2010. The resort and the Delagado's place was better than advertised. The service at the resort was outstanding (10) and their villa was beautiful. You won't be disappointed. We found this resort to be extremly safe. Mr. Delgado was extremely helpful leading up to our stay with recommendations on places to visit and eat. The weather in March was between 85 and 90 degrees everyday without a cloud in the sky. We were so impressed with the resort and villa, I have already contacted Dave about staying at his place in 2011. I would recommend their property and this resort to anyone.

Great lay-out at Dave and Lori's unit. We are a family of 4 and this was perfect for us. Put the kids in the 1 bedroom and we had privacy. It was like the kids were in their own unit. Master bedroom layout was great. Everything needed in the kitchen to prepare meals should you choose and 3 flat screens if TV is your bag. Our kids brought a few of their DVD's and a full compliment of english channels are offered on cable. Great views from the third floor (just above the tree line) so fantastic views of the sunsets and the bay. Large balcony/deck we would relax on the lounge chairs and read and listen to the ocean right in front of you. Great property lush, great facilites, spa (one of the best experienced at any 5 star we have stayed at) and very well equipped gym. Beach was walkable and your not bothered by merchants and vendors. Actually some sand to enjoy unlike so many other locations in Mexico affected by storms. Great service from staff and if you want the high activity of an all-inclusive go next door and check the sister property. Nice thing is the property and guests next store have NO ACCESS to the Villa La Estancia even the beach! Best of both worlds. Will go back in a heartbeat!

This was by far one of the nicest resorts I have ever stayed at in Mexico. Gorgeous grounds, beautiful pool with swim-up bar, full kitchen, and a great ocean view with large patio. We will be going back to this unit year after year. David, the owner, was very helpful with restaurant recommendations and local information. I wouldn't hesitate to book this villa - you won't be disappointed.
