Santa Rosa, CaliforniaNicely decorated, comfortable room and excellent hosts

This B and B in the Barossa is an excellent setting to explore the valley. Nice room and bath. Breakfast is provided in the refrigerator and consists of meat, cheese, fruit, bread and yogurt. The best part of our experience though was getting to know the Barossa through our hosts, the friendly and informative Pfeiffers. Their insider knowlege on restaurants and wineries was invaluable. Be sure to visit their winery for both the wine and kangaroos.

Cape TownBarossa Valley at its best!
Left on 12/04/2011 for a stay in November 2011
We recently traveled through australia for more than 3 weeks, and Whistler Farm B&B; was without a doubt one of the highlights - if not the best accommodation - that we had during our trip. On arrival, a cheese and cured meat platter was waiting for us as well as an invitation to help ourselves to one of the bottle in the substantially stocked wine cellar consisting of various vintages of Whistler Wines. We chose a Sparkling Shiraz, and it was absolutely delicious.
The accommodation is lovely, has contemporary furniture as well as a fully equipped kitchenette and an amazing outside area. The tranquil, beautiful farm surroundings (including chickens, ducks and horses) was the perfect way to just kick back and relax after an exhausting day of wine tasting:-)
Thanks to Jayne and Chris for their wonderful hospitality! We highly recommend this B&B.; -

Ourimbah, NSWWarm & generous hosts in a gorgeous setting

The B&B; suite was beautiful, very nicely furnished & decorated with a thoughtfully set up kitchenette & bathroom. Outdoors spaces (including courtyard, gardens and paddocks) are truly beautiful and the shared space between the 2 suites is warm, inviting and comfortable. Our hosts were delightfully friendly and offered great advice (both in the book provided in the room and in person) and great company (when we caught up for a lovely glass [bottle] of wine one evening). We certainly plan to return to this blissfully peaceful and beautiful place, so well located beside Maggie Beer's shop and the Palm avenue area - feels like a million miles from anywhere - but is just a stone's throw from the whole Barossa.

Seacliff South AustraliaThe ultimate Barossa getaway
Left on 11/21/2011 for a stay in July 2010
We were lucky to be amongst the first people to stay with Jayne and Chris when they opened their Whistler Farm B&B; and have been coming back every since. For wine and food-loving beach dwellers like us this is the ideal country retreat, staying in modern five star luxury accommodation surrounded by a glorious garden of grapevines and flowers. While our room and personal courtyard were very private we still felt part of the Pfeiffer family with their strong connection to the Barossa community. This truly is the ultimate Barossa getaway.
