PerthPerfect holiday!

We spent 5 days at Villa Sunset and couldn't have been happier! The pictures don't do it justice. The staff are so amazing and helpful. The house is perfect. You have breakfast cooked for you every morning, staff who clean your house everyday (but only while you are out so they don't disturb you), a private chauffeur and your own speed boat with skipper (should you decide to go shopping in Sanur for the afternoon). How could I fault this place...I can't! A big thank you to Diah and the staff who looked after us so well.

I spent six days here after being transferred from Villa Cantik next door as the owner was in town (and pool undergoing maintenance, I was told). The staff were very attentive and helpful, with just a nice mix of leaving space for privacy. Accommodation was as seen in the pics here, so no nasty surprises. Driver Nyoman was helpful, Chief butler went on leave after my first day but Yadee, the backup butler (also housekeeper) was good. The premises were kept clean throughout, and I saw pool being cleaned at least once when I was there (and up early enough).
Food is so so although I guess it's because I'm comparing these to the best I know in Jkt. In any case, food always tastes better when you don't have to scramble with other hotel guests. Furthermore, Yadee & his team were helpful in creating the perfect setting for a meal, like outdoor by the pool.
Oh the tap water tastes funny (no drinking - even when brushing teeth or shower).
But the sunset view...gorgeous.
All in all, I'm glad I didn't cancel my trip - was that close to cancelling because of some other trouble. Thanks guys. -

We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Villa. It is a stunning home with everything you need for a very luxurious stay. The pool in particular is a wonderful size and the boys really enjoyed it. We only used the kayaks once and didn’t use the boat, but it was great to have a driver included. A delicious breakfast every day.
One of the highlights was the Bumbu Cooking Class and a visit to the restaurant – amazing to have it right in our neighbourhood. The location is a little odd and arriving late at night down a very long, narrow village track was a little off-putting. However while it is a little isolated, it is 5 minutes to anywhere and we had already spent a week in the hustle and bustle of Seminyak.
The staff were lovely, very attentive and helpful, if sometimes a little formal. But we were very well looked after and overall it was a great escape and we had a lovely stay! -

The service we received at Villa Sunset was absolutely outstanding. We were a group of 3 couples and the villa was perfect for this, but would be equally perfect for a family.
The villa was kept spotlessly clean during our stay and the staff really did everything they could to make our stay perfect.
The included breakfasts were great, and I would thoroughly recommend having the chef cook at least once for dinner (we had a seafood BBQ) as the food was incredible (lobster, calamari, prawns, snapper) and really good value.
The villa isn't by a swimming beach but the view into the harbour was lovely & it was great having the boat there to go for an explore & a snorkel.
The included driver is absolutely necessary (ours was lovely, friendly & spoke great English) as you do feel a bit in the middle of nowhere but I think that's perfect for a vacation. Most days we had the driver for longer than the included 8 hours but the out of hours rates are so cheap that it really is the best way to get around.
I would definitely stay again - and for longer next time!
Thanks for a great holiday Villa Sunset! -

We stayed at Sunset Villa for 8 days over Easter in 2012. Everything was perfect from the moment we made contact with the management to make the booking to the final send off as we were dropped off at the airport.
Sunset villa is part of a very small group of properties and is possibly the best as it enjoys a beautiful view of the sea / bay. It is exactly as described in the literature and the villa is exactly as pictured.
Aside from being luxurious and extremely comfortable (pool was fantastic) the staff were very attentive and always happy to do anything they could to make our stay a total pleasure. From Yade (housekeeper), Komang (butler), Goy, Gede (chef), Oxana and Nyoman (driver).
If you are looking for a luxurious and friendly place to visit I heartily recommend Sunset at Villa Na Bali.
The owner Gordon and Manager Vasili were also very friendly and have worked hard making this a special place. -

I have two young boys aged 2 and 5 and I stayed for 5 days with friends. The villa is large, clean and spacious; the private pool is huge and the view from the villa is just breathtaking. I would definitely have no doubts about staying there again. With young children though, you'd have to watch that they don't either fall into the pool or the sea! An option would be to stay in one of the villas in the complex, which is not on the waterfront. When the tide goes out, the beach is swampy and is teaming with crabs and other critters - no good for sandcastles but great for a nature trail. Plenty of rubbish though, so you could clean up as you go along!

We have just returned from our Bali holiday and we stayed at the Sunset Villa in Tanjong Benoa, we stayed for a week but it felt like a month. The Villa was absolutely fantastic, the location is private and peaceful, although central to everything. The Villa staff are so professional and friendly - anything we needed was available and nothing is too much trouble. We took the boat out for the day and the skipper showed us around the harbour, we had a fantastic day out and would highly recommend this.
We can't wait to go back!!

Sitting in the jacuzzi sipping a cold drink as you watch the sun go down is as good as it gets. Fabulous waterfront setting, wonderful pool and beautiful villa. We made good use of the bikes that come with the villa and explored the surrounding coastline courtesy of the villa motorboat. There is also a driver and car available so we were able to take day trips to the various Bali sights.
We stayed for 2 weeks but could have stayed for a month. This is as close as holiday paradise gets. Can't recommend it highly enough. -

Sunset Villa offers a unique travel experience. The location is close to beaches with kilometers of walkways that can be enjoyed either walking or biking. It is also close to excellent restaurants offering fare for every taste. There is also Mom and Pop types restaurants for the more aventuresome. We loved both. One thing we loved, was the location off the beat and track. We stayed 10 days and by the end of our stay the locals were chatting to us as we walked by. My husband even had his hair cut at a small place on the street into the villa. We felt very safe and very welcome and would highly recommend this to a romantic couple or couples and to a family who wants to share this special part of the world together.

It's hard to know which of a series of delights topped the list. Whether it was the seclusion art the end of a leafy road from the local village, swimming in the pool appearing like an extension to the harbour beyond the pool and lawn, the kindness and all round care of the housekeepers and driver, or the stylishly spacious elegance of the villa- both inside and out. It can only be the divine sensation of being in the pool looking back at the villa and peaceful harbour opposite which we did morning noon and night!
Highly recommended for a truly Bali rest-&-recreation holiday. -

After flying for close to thirty hours the Sunset Villa was a welcome destination. We plunged into the long lap pool immediately and then took advantage of the nearby village to stock up on supplies. We were able to walk everywhere or use one of the bicycles. The compound's security is low key but do operate 24/7. The Villa offers privacy, with staff when you need them and the most important thing is location. Everything is close by including beaches, restaurants and some unusually interesting Temples. Sunset Villa was a great introduction to Bali !

Sunset villa was perfect for our holiday. We loved the atmosphere and the fact that the villa was tucked away within a Balinese village. It was a unique experience and everything we needed was just within reach. The lap pool was wonderful, there was bikes for our use and going out on the boat was fantastic! Watching the sun set right before your eyes is breathtaking and so romantic. The staff were so helpful. I can't wait to go back!

We had a wonderful family holiday as we and the kids had a great time enjoying the accomodation, pool and attention of the staff. The car included accomodated the whole family and trips into the city were safe and comfortable. Walksand rides to the beach were an added attraction as was the boattour we took. Service provided by the owner and their local staff was excellent as they were caring, friendly and attentive. Strongly reccomend this villa for family or group holiday.
