The property features six doubles, one set of bunk beds, one single sofabed, and two queen sofabeds. Amenities include an oceanfront covered porch and outdoor shower. West Beach, stretching almost four and a half miles from Middleton Avenue west to the point of the island, is the most secluded stretch of beach on Oak Island. Left on 08/18/2011 for a stay in May 2011
The a/C did not work. Luckily, it was still fairly cool in the evenings, so we did not have to ask for another rental. The owner/OIa should make sure all the units are in good working order at the start of each busy season.
