Legasea is a four bedroom, four bath home located in the West Beach portion of Oak Island, NC. The property features one king, two queens, one double, one single, one trundle, and one set of bunk beds. West Beach, stretching almost four and a half miles from Middleton Avenue west to the point of the island, is the most secluded stretch of beach on Oak Island. With more quiet beaches than most of Oak Island, and only a few houses deep at its widest, this stretch of land has virtually no commercial properties and is ideal for vacationers looking to get away from it all. Legasea is a nicely furnished and well equipped house. The elevator is always tricky, but with plenty of folks, we just carried everything up the steps. The room on the lower floor is wonderful for several children to sleep. Also, having one of the bedrooms with a double bed and a twin bed, is very helpful. My only complaint are the chairs around the table...plastic and not very comfortable. But other than that, lovely setting, wonderful views of the marshes, and a great place to fish and crab with the children.
