Moondance is a four bedroom, four and one half bathroom home located in the Yaupon Beach portion of beautiful Oak Island, NC. The property features two kings, one queen, and two sets of bunk beds. Yaupon Beach, which runs almost two miles from Country Club Drive and the island's old bridge west to Southeast 58th Street is the core of the island. East Oak Island Drive is home to the majority of the island's shops and restaurants. Many fine vacation homes are located on the side streets that frequently dead end at the dunes. Check-in was convenient. The home was beautiful however we were disappointed when we arrived at the home's cleanliness. We had to sweep and swifter the floors, cleaned the glass door (front). The bed spread on the master king bed had dog hair on it. I'm allergic so we had to place in closet and used beach towels as the covers for the bed. The dog hair was also on the floor too. We cleaned and changed the air filter in the mid-level hall area. The old one was filthy. But the house is gorgeous, it was great for our week-end plans and we will probably request this home again in the future. Proximity to beach was so nice and we loved Oak Island and South Port.
