Shellington is a two bedroom, one bathroom home located in the East Beach portion of beautiful Oak Island, NC. The property features two queens, two day beds, and one queen sofa bed. East Beach, which runs just over three miles from Southeast 58th Street west to Middleton Avenue is a popular stretch of Oak Island sand. Not quite as quiet or secluded as West Beach, its location closer to the island's shops and restaurants make it perfect for the vacationer looking for a blend of relaxation and convenience. We pulled into the driveway at the Shellington and were at home upon opening the door. It had a beautiful oceanfront view. The kitchen was well equiped and the living room was inviting and cozy. The two suggestions of improvement are the air in the bedroom to the left needs to be replaced. it blows hot air and is covered in mildew. The grill needs to have some touch-ups. Oak island accomdations was very helpful in providing us with a grill as the one at the Shellington was not proerly working. We loved the location and would stay there again in a second. If you are looking for a beach escape the Shellington will surely provide you the experience you desire.
