We were seeking a quiet get away to reconnect. Our daily lives are very busy with 2 teenage children and work. This was perfect! Very well equipped and everything we were looking for. Victoria and John even took us out on their boat to see the entire lake. However, they were quick to leave and gave us our privacy the entire weekend. My only complaint about the weekend was that I didn't plan anything for lunch and we had to leave the lakefront. So glad I packed dinners and breakfasts too! Loved our morning coffee on the deck while listening to the Purple Martins, ducks and other song birds! Thanks for the wonderful hospitality! We will be back!

My boyfriend and I enjoyed a nice quiet weekend in this lovely cottage. The owner, Victoria, was extremely helpful and accommodating.The view of the lake was the best feature the house had to offer. We really enjoyed having the lake only footsteps away from the deck. We hope to return again, hopefully for a weekend when it doesn't rain.

The cottage was very clean and the kitchen was the best-equipped of any that we stayed in on our 3 month long tour. The friendly owner was there to greet us an show us around, but otherwise left us in peace. We had a few email exchanges with her during our stay about the expected severe weather, so she was accessible had we needed to contact her about anything else.
There was a big snowstorm while we were there, but the cottage was very cosy and the view out the window over the lake was stunning. No need to go out if you can just sit on the comfy daybed in front of the window and admire the view!
The only drawback for us was that there were no reading lights in the tiny bedroom for reading in bed. One had to use the overly bright overhead light which was not ideal (especially if one person want to read and the other to sleep!)

What a most relaxing stay! Victoria and John are most accommodating and have everything you need from sheets, towels, grill, fishing equipment, and kayaks. We wanted to escape from the city to enjoy a week of peace and relaxation. We didn't want to leave! Thank you for helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary in style.

My sisters and I stayed here for the weekend and had a wonderful time. The cottage is very relaxing with a beautiful view of the lake. We especially appreciated the new pull-out sofa and comfortable furnishings, as well as the convenient proximity to a number of good local restaurants.

My wife and I stayed here for a Valentines weekend. We had a relaxing time. The cottage is very clean. It has a great view of the lake, and Victoria the ownwer is very accomodating.
