We stayed at Meadow View whilst attending a 4 sailing event at Rutland Water. The house is very comfortable and we felt very much at home there. As other reviewers have said it is brilliantly equipped with everything you could possibly need, spotlessly clean and the beds are very comfortable with a lovely superkingsize in the main bedroom and nice wide bunks in the other. I woulds say its perfect for a family with pre-teen children. Ben is very friendly and just a few doors down if you need anything. We would definitely book again.

Visiting friends in Oakham, four of us stayed at Meadow View for the weekend. Ben could not have been nicer, meeting us when we arrived late on the Friday and showing us around the lovely house. Everything was spotless, the beds comfy and nice touches like fresh fruit and milk really appreciated. Would highly recommend.

Meadow View is fantastic! It is very tidy, clean and well-equipped. We have a great time staying at Meadow View which is very comfortable, peaceful and can give us a real homely feel, it is perfect for couples as well as for families. Ben and Marie, the cottage owner, are very friendly, caring and helpful. I will definitely recommed it to my friends.

Wrexham, United Kingdomgreat welcome and attention to comfort at very short notice.

Meadow view was booked by us at short notice and would not have been or first choice of location(housing estate) as we usually go for rural cottages. However, that said , we were really pleasantly surprised, Ben was helpful, attentive and the house had everything needed for both short breaks and longer hols. The wine on the table and milk in the fridge was not necessary but was a lovely thought and made that little bit of difference as although if used to self catering you take the basics-it was great to know that the cupboards were not bare if not able to get to shops straight away. Linen all included and a really comprehensive house file with info for your stay- I would recommend to anyone wanting a clean, comfy place within short distance of great places to visit .
