Built in 2010, Cedar View Cottage is located in the historic Sky Ranch area adjacent to the Sierra National Forest, home of the Nelder Grove Giant Sequoias and thousands of acres of high country to explore. Come enjoy all the vast area has to offer!

Nearby Bass Lake is a popular fishing and power sports destination with numerous docks renting everything to make your lake experience enjoyable. We've had memorable family times renting the large pontoon boat, filling a cooler with all our favorites, and grilling on the on-board BBQ out on the lake. Oakhurst is home to a number of golf courses, motorcycle and hiking trails, horseback riding and Yosemite mountain sugar pine railroad. Yosemite National Park is at your beck and call every season of the year~ Springtime means gushing waterfalls and mountain wildflowers. Summer is a beautiful time to explore hiking trails, horseback riding and rock climbing. A must see are the big trees at Mariposa Grove just inside the park. This is a highlight for many of our guest! Fall brings a glorious display of colors and continued warm days. Winter is known for breathtaking snowy views and wouldn’t be complete without visiting the outdoor ice skating rinks or skiing at Badger Pass.

We had a wonderful stay at Cedar View. Our family of 5 stayed and it was perfect. New, roomy, immaculate, truly beautiful. We could sit outside and enjoy the beauty or be indoors and enjoy the little extras that made it so special. It's so close to Yosemite, Bass Lake and hiking trails we didn't lack for things to do. I look forward to going back for a longer stay with our family or to celebrate an anniversary with my husband. The owners, Donald and Cassie were welcoming, pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed.
