Our family stayed at Heaven's Gate for 3 nights. Our three generation family had a great time. There was something for everyone. The bedrooms vary in size and convenience. One room had a king bed and private bath - what could be better for the senior couple? A room on the ground floor with a nearby bathroom and gameroom provided two queen beds and a living room with a comfy couch for the family of 5 to be quite comfortable. The other couple had a choice of rooms with a bath down the hall. Everyone was quite satisfied.
The setting was absolutely beautiful. When we arrived, everyone wandered around the house to see what conveniences were available, which rooms each of us would occupy, and just to get a feel. From every direction you could hear, "Wow! come look at this!!" etc. We were still just as thrilled with the everything when we recluctantly had to leave.
The house is beautiful. The kitchen is large and has a huge cabinet where basic cooking foods were kept. You may want to check this out before shopping for your food. The deck provided views from several directions. The game room was popular. The natural environment provided everyone a chance to explore. Bass Lake was a lot of fun and Yosemite, although crowded, needed a lot more time than we had to really see it.
Sunday R. provided all we needed to know about getting there, getting in, and enjoying ourselves. The one advice I have is to be patient when closing the dishwasher; it needs a little extra push on the door to engage.
This was our first experience with Vrbo and will not be our last.

We found this rental property on the internet. We were looking for a home near Yosemite. The home exceeded our expectations. It was secluded with rolling hills, beautiful scenerie and deer in the yard. The wrap around porches were amazing. We cooked outside every day. The home is MUCH LARGER and more spacious than the internet pictures. We want to book it again next year!

We rented the property for our family to stay to attend a wedding held in Yosemite Valley. The accomodations were amazing. We were able to share a family dinner in a modern and cozy great room and enjoy time on the wrap around balcony of this spacious and moderinized retreat. Everyone was impresssed with how lovely the rooms were decorated and how well the property was kept. Working with the owners was easy and we hope to visit again in the future some time when we can bring the family together again for a retreat or special occassion. Our heartfelt thanks to Sunday and family for sharing Heaven's Gate with us for our special occassion.

We spent a wonderful week there. The bed in the master bedroom is the most comfortable we have ever slept on.
Perfect property for our boxer to roam.

Loved the internet access, the only thing better would have been wireless, but hey, we're on vacation, we learn to adapt
Could not believe that we found this place, an incredible value and we will definitely stay there again. Ease of renting,owner returned all calls and emails within a day at most. Owner billed thru paypay,so easy. No problem at all returning security deposti. Owner sent lots of tips on things to do\see in the area. This house would be perfect for a large group that wanted to share. Plenty of beds, and lots of space in upper and lower family rooms for playing, watching satellite TV with more channels than anyone needs, dvd players in both family rooms and the master BR. Also, foosball and ping pong tables in the garage, made for an enjoyable afternoon. FULLY EQUIPPED kitchen and awesome double grill on the deck made it easy to cook whatever we wanted, whenever we wanted it. VONS and another grocery store nearby, no need to haul all of your food with you. Just can't say enough about how much we liked this place and did NOT want to leave. -

Very nice house. Loved the panoramic views. Lots of space for everyone to feel
comfortable. Town very close by and real close to bass lake. Will definitely stay there
again next time we want to go to bass lake or just to get away from it all
