  If glass slippers were involved we would never ever click our heels and say there is no place like home. This magical place is a glimpse of paradise on earth. We had an amzing relaxing and wonderful experience at Oz!! Brent and Christina with eight kids ages 4-11 and all had an unforgettable three days. We will definately recommend Oz to our friends and family.

  Great house, but dirty

  The house is marketed as no pets, but there is dog hair everywhere and the house smells like dogs are there regularly. This is an issue for those who seek houses with no pets because of allergies. Floors were exceptionally dirty - clearly hadn't been vaccumed in a long time. I would not rent it again because of the pet issue, but for anyone who doesn't care about that, it is a very nice house in a good location. Barn with game room was fun too.

  I would be reluctant to recommend this property again unless someone personally inspectes the property prior to our arrival for cleanliness.We spent 3 nights.
  The OZ house was just perfect and beautiful but the dust on table tops, bugs and dust on the furniture in the 2nd floor suite was so uncomfortable that we never even used any of the dresser drawers fearing there may be bugs inside was very disappointing to say the least. Cob webs in a lot of the corners of the entire house, smell of pet urine in the first floor master suite, and the game rooms in the barn was especially dirty/dusty that we never used it. What a shame this happened and we hope that you will better check out your homes prior to someone’s arrival if you want us back again. My daughter Jami who even paid an extra fee for early arrival was totally annoyed. This was not an inexpensive weekend home for the price we paid it did not meet our expectations sadly to say.
  We generally take a couple of family week-ends at resorts within our state and there can be up to 10 people so this size house was what we needed…we just didn’t need the poor cleanliness. We all feel some kind of adjustment should be made for our 3 night stay and hope you will consider some kind of compensation.

  First time at Deep Creek and my family and I give it two thumbs

  I have a large family of 50 members that have gone on a family vacation together for the last 20 years. We typically rent 4 houses at the beach @ Sea Isle City, NJ. This year, because of 2 family destination weddings we were unable to fit the beach vacation into our budgets. I offered to put together a long weekend vacation for anyone interested. There was a little reluctance at first, but I managed to convince about half the family to give Deep Creek a try. We rented two houses on the water and had a spectacular time. There is some serious talk of changing the summer vacation tradition from the beach to Deep Creek.
  On a side note, all the security cameras at OZ are a little creepy.

  Oz was all we needed! Located on a quiet part of the lake, just enough view of the lake without compromising privacy. House warm and welcoming with great deck and plenty of room. Wonderful and easy walkway from deck to dock.....game barn and hot tub added to a relaxing visit.

  It's "ELKTON" not "Elktown".
  I would have to say this was our best vacation ever! Loved the house and it's location. Very private. There were several minor issues with the house that we listed as soon as we got there. We brought the list to the rental agency and they were quick to offer to remedy the problems. The house was gorgeous. Obviously the original builders thought of everything. We enjoyed the cabana by the lake. Had fun cooking smores on the fire pit. We brought our boat and enjoyed the lake all week. Water was superb and very clean! Kids had a blast. We will definately visit again!

  Our family had a perfect Thanksgiving holiday in the land of OZ!

  We enjoyed the beautiful views from the large windows over looking the lake. Long walks along the lake path were a daily activity as was a soak in the hot tub when the cold night air would take our breath away. The fireplace and game barn provided many family gatherings where we shared laughs, stories, and some friendly competition. We enjoyed the benefit of a quiet fall retreat that turned to winter over night with a beautiful snow fall. And thank you Taylor-Made for plowing the driveway out for us! You are as good as the house you rent! We will do business with you again.

  The house was amazing. From the game room, hot tub, fire pit and music speaker through out the house. We only ventured away from the house for about 3 hours to see Shallow Creek park during our 3 night stay. The kithen was fully equiped and a pleasure to be in. We never felt a need to go out to eat. We were missing the key to the game room, but the property manager was by to drop one off within 30 minutes. Other than the dishwasher door needing adjustment, everything was perfect. I hope to have the opportunity to rent Oz again.

  OZ was perfect...lots of character. The house itself was well furnished and equipped (added coffee grinder to the kitchen) and cleanliness was exceptional by the Taylor-Made mgmt company. We had 2 boats and 2 jetskis...the private dock accomodated all easily. The wide open deck on the dock was great sunning location and great place to keep eye on kids. Thanks for a great vacation!....Alex

  House was beautiful, the house was somewhat dusty but clean, we had no house phone service at all, and some of the other couples there felt we were being watch by camera, I know policy is that on a holiday you pay for the extra day but we felt we could of had a little and the price since we checked out at 2:00pm, I will never book around a holiday again because of the extra money and not being ableto use the for that extra day. All and all couples enjoyed the house and our stay
