It is also the site of the novel "The LostWorld" by Arthur Connan Doyle and the location of the "Green Mansions", the place where Rima lived, in the beloved novel of William Hudson. service was great,the home was nice the location is great close to a lot of thinks to do.did not like the tv above fire place its to high to see when your sitting.all tvs need to be upgraded.hockey table didnt work right at all something wrong with the air flow.something wrong with dishwasher (cancel button)loved the kitchen area and eating area.looked at the house across the street that was on sale cause i am thinking about buying a cabin.but not at those prices (350.000) thats just crazy for really only one floor of living space and the hot tube room is way useless.

We were very impressed with the quality of the rental home we stayed in. All the appliances and TVs were updated and the hot tub was amazing! I recommend this place to everyone.

Have stayed 3 other times in Long and Foster rentals and enjoyed
our times there. This place is seriously in need of fixing up. For example the door handle fell off and the dishwasher is not attached-- felt like it
would fall out while loading. Other places we have rented had at least
one roll of TP and dish soap. This place didn't even have a place to attach
TP in the bathroom. The furniture has had hard use. Can feel the coils
in sofas. Inadequate kitchen cookware. No charm or comfort. -

We had a very old time. The place was nice and clean. Only downside was that checkout is at 10am and you have to clean the place before you leave. I don't mind cleaning but to wake up extra early to do so is no fun.

It was very comfortable and we have stayed here several times at Thanksgiving and enjoyed the beautiful weather over Memorial Day. Great for a family because of the layout.

We have stayed at this cabin for a couple of years now and we absolutely love it. It has so much room and just has a nicey homey feel. This cabin has everything that you could ask for when you are looking for a place to rent especially if you stay for a week like my family and I do.

After initially selecting Makenzie's Cabin and being extremely disappointed, Long and Foster saved the day and put us in Canaima and we couldn't have been more happy. The place is a perfect mixture of luxury and rustic cabin feeling. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the cabin and was very comfortable and cozy. Response from Long & Foster for the few technical problems was quick and got the problems resolved in a timely manner. Great place for a family with grown and teenage children. Had a memorable Thanksgiving weekend.

All though we had a great time and enjoyed are stay and our anniversary . We did have a lot of mice at our home that ate are food and made it a little uncomftorable while tryin to enjoy our anniversary weekend with one another. When we called to ask about what we should do we got sent from one person to another and they acted like they didn't no what to do .They did say go by traps or we can send over maintance ...we came to enjoy one another so we went and spent our own money on traps and got rid of most of them even though the lady offered to replcae our exspencise for them nothing was said when we checked out ...it would have been a long wait to get a few $'s back because she would have had to get it approved threw corporate then credit back our card not a very good plan of action since we were tryin to fix a problem that should have already been taken care of and never ask your guest to take care of it your suppose to take care of us...Right

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Canima and look forward to future vacations there. The cabin is very close to Deep Creek Lake. Further, all of the amenities of the cabin made it feel very home-like. Our children enjoyed playing the air hockey game and roasting marshmallows by the fireplace (wood was provided). A great vacation place to make many wonderful memories!

From the moment that we checked in my father kept saying that he wished we were staying longer than the weekend. The cabin was spacious and felt like home. The only noticeable issues was with the basement being cold. Perhaps more than 1 heater would be in order. At least there was 1 heater already there which showed that the owner's of the cabin are familiar with their cabins. The bathrooms were very spacious and the kitchen had most of what was needed to make the meals. The hot tub was nice and having that many tvs gave us options. It was a memorable weekend that makes us want to come back and to get the same cabin. We'll probably stay longer than a weekend next time. Highly recommended!

This house was BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything was clean and comfy. We enjoyed everything about. Lots of kitchen utensils so we were able to cook. The fireplaces were perfect!! The only issue we ever had was the hot tub locking but the service guy was extrememly nice and walked us through it everytime and then it worked perfect. I would LOVE to stay at this house again next year for our winter snow trip!

THis cabin was wonderful.. We stayed there for 10 days. We loved every minute of it. The cabin had a feel of home.. We loved everything about this cabin and would recommend it to everyone. We didnt want to leave the cabin or DCL..

The home was beautiful and with all the amentities of a personal home but better. I can say my friends and I thought we had to bring everything like pots and pans, utensils, and cuts. Not at Canaima! The bathrooms and decor was gorgeous and I plan on visiting again. My friends and I just loved it!
