Cathedral ceiling, stone fireplace and soaring glass windows provide a wonderful panoramic view of the lake. Relax with your favorite beverage on the wraparound deck. This is a well kept and tastefully decorated house, with a great layout for multiple families. Wish there had been wi-fi but I get that is not on everyone's agenda. Deck was child proof and there was a grassy area for non-water activities. There is a nice gravel path through trees to get to the dock but some bigger rocks at the water's edge. Great for boating or big kids jumping off the dock but if you have little ones who want to splash around you'll have to take them to the State Park. That may be the case with most properties but this was my first time visiting so I am not an expert.

Great location. House had everything you will need or want. Not a bad price for the number of people it holds. House is amazing. Private dock is the way to go!

We stayed here with our adult children and our 4 young grandchildren, and it was a great home for this 3-generation group. There were plenty of bathrooms (3.5), and the game room on the ground level was a super place for the kids to watch tv and play games. The triangle bunk bed was a real hit, too. The kitchen was well equipped. It was good that walk down to the lake was a gentle slope, and the lighting along the path was especially nice.
Just a couple of minor complaints: the house was advertised as having wifi, but there was no internet connection at all. One member of our party needed to do work on computer for his employment, and with no connectivity, he had to inconveniently go to a coffee shop to get on line.
The boat dock seems to need some repair; if two adults stood on the end of it, it went under water.
A fire pit near the water would have been nice for evening campfires. -

We have stayed at different rentals at Deep Creek prior to this vacation, but, this house was far superior to the others. The home was very clean and comfortable and the location was perfect for the whole family to enjoy the lake. Extra amenities like the lighted bluestone path to the lake, the floating dock, and the benches and chairs lakeside were nice additions to the listed amenities. We would recommend this house to family vacationers and intend to spend future vacations at the Lake House.

This house was lovely,nicely kept and well maintained. The only issue was the water pressure the bathroom upstairs did not even have enough water for people to brush their teeth. Once the water pressure issue is fixed this will be quiet a perfect house and easily sleeps 14 people.
