Shiver Me Timbers is a gorgeous, brand new log home located in the wonderful community of Yellowstone Village. Spend your evenings nestled on the couch in front of the crackling fireplace. Take a stroll in the morning on the country road and take in the crisp mountain air. Keep an eye out for wildlife such a whitetail deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and plenty of bird watching for everyone! There was a total of 12 people in my party, and each one had a place to sleep. This was my main worry when planning the trip. After looking through various placed, I found this cabin.
It is certainly roomy, everyone had their own space and bed to sleep in. Every room had a television. It also had a hot tub, which was not really a deciding factor for my stay, but it definitely helped!
Downstairs, it had a foosball table, and a playstation. The whole house had a ton of couches and places to stay. It has a loft, which is a very nice touch. It was a very comfortable fit for 12 people.
Taylor-Made was a pleasure to deal with. They even went through the hassle of sending my iPad back to me after I had left it there by accident. Check in and check out were easy and simply just a phone call.
The important thing is that if we were to go back up, as we plan to, we would stay in the same place. -

The cabin was great, the weekend was great, but the A/C was not working. It was very warm with 12 family members in the house.

The only complaint that the group had was that the two first floor showers had no pressure....but other than that we had an awesome time:)

We rented this beautiful log cabin with another family, in order to enjoy a few days skiing at Wisp. The location to the resort was great, and the property itself was terrific. I loved the hardwood floors, the kitchen and the fireplace. Everything was clean and seemed new. There were three areas that could be improved: (1) Since four bedrooms were advertised and we had two sets of adults staying with kids, it would have been preferable for the downstairs suite to have had a Queen or King bed, versus two twin beds. (2) The dishwasher worked sporadically. Don't know if it was properly installed, but a maintenance person should take a look at it. (3) It would have been GREAT if a hot tub had been available for us, as we all enjoy sitting in hot water after a day on the slopes. The rental agent with whom we spoke had indicated that the hot tub would have been ready by the time we arrived, but then informed us that it was not going to be ready until 2011. BUMMER ;(
