This home really worked for my family. Plenty of room to spread out,plenty of bathrooms making little wait time for a shower. The deck was very comfortable with lots of seating.Often used the tables on the deck for playing cards. Enjoyed the hot tub on the deck so you could soak and still be near family. The home is close enough to the water so you can sit on the deck and have lunch and watch the action on the lake, plus it was not a steep climb to the water. The only draw back was the couch in the family could be more comfortable, I didn't spend much time on it as the outside was so enjoyable.

This is a lovely place in pretty good condition, although we found appliances that worked only with coaxing (ice machine), blender (broken); gas grill (no fuel), sliding screen door (needs replacement). We did not appreciate the giant cross on the wall. We rented a house, not a religious retreat. Downstairs bedrooms had rank odor only partially covered by scent bottles. Air hockey table had missing part that pretty much made it unusuable; pool cues were in terrible shape. We found lighting a problem as only overhead lights plus a few small lamps were available. Traffic noise from street was endless, as was boat traffic on lake at busy times.
All these minor complaints aside, the house was more than what we had expected in terms of space and flexibility. The dock and deck and hot tub were invaluable and of course we loved the giant TV. Beds were ok and bedroom storage was ample. Furniture was comfy and ample.
Still, we will not rent amazing Love again although we may well return to Deep Creek -- it's a lovely place. We will seek a less costly, more remote house and split lake access is fine.
You only learn these things from experiencing them and we would recommend Railey as a broker anytime. -

Our family enjoyed the week we were at amazing Love. The house was clean and roomy, and it was nice to have a private dock. It was conviently located, so that shopping, dining, entertainment etc. was easily accessable. We also enjoyed the hot tub, and the grandkids liked the game room.

I understand about snow situation. But, the property was not ready and checked before you offer.
1. There was no driveway and parking spot. One of the cars got stuck on driveway, so we have to pay $75 for tow truck.
2. Wet basement carpet.
3. Main Heater was not working properly. First day was working ok, but next two days it was very cold.
4. Extremely low water pressure. Total 11 guests experienced horrible morning because of water pressure.
5. Electric fireplace wasn’t working. Because of heater problem, we tried to use fire place. But, it was not working either.
6. Stinky Blanket. Couple of blankets smelled very bad.
The last, on Sunday 2.21st the day we are leaving, management team came out around 6am to clean the snow. They cleaned driveway, deck, roof, and all around the property. I heard the property owner was scheduled to coming that day. I understand that. However, none of management team asked any of us to be excused. We went there to have enough rest. We didn’t expect anyone coming 6 o’clock in the morning to wake us up.
I visit deep creek annually past 7 years at least once or twice a year. I don’t think I want to plan the trip for next year, if there is snow.
