i think overall the house is beautiful...every bedroom except one had there own bathroom and own view which was great..the best was the living area with 5 couples we could all be upstairs in the living area and not feel that we were on top of each other...we did have some minor issues with the internet but was taken care of right away...i do recommend that you bring some games with you ..for our stay we like to stay in and play alot of games..we this year forgot our games and the house did not have alot...

American Dream is a very nice home to stay in. The house was very clean. For the most part, it is very well maintained. The coffee pots needs to be replaced. Otherwise, everything was excellent.

This home is beautiful, especially if you are travelling with a group. Four out of the five bedrooms are master and both the bedrooms and baths are very spacious and decorated well. The "living area" which is the kitchen, dining and great room are combined into one large spacious area and provide an opportunity for the entire group to hang out, whether they are watching TV, playing cards or preparing the next meal. I am usually down when the summer is ending so we have been travelling to Deep Creek every November for 10 years. This vacation helps us get over the end-of-summer blues and let's us de-stress before the holidays kick us into over-drive. We have stayed at american Dream for three years and will most definitely be back again.

Very, very nice house. The main floor was open and had plenty of seats for dinner. The view of the lake and mountains was exceptional. We are considering staying there next year!

American Dream is a gorgeous house but has multiple issues. There were multiple areas that were leaking; the door downstairs, the roof in the sun room, the corner in the bedroom on main level. The hot tub was not in working order, although we had been given a key to it at check in and then at a later time in the evening told it had caught on fire the week previously and was not in working order. The jacuzzi tub downstairs was not working, the faucet leaked, and the faucet was completely off. The driveway had not been touched in any way, shape, or form requiring us to go back to town to buy salt, cat litter etc to put down so that we could even get our cars down the driveway.
I did tell the management in the office about all of these issues. It was very frustrating to have to deal with all of these issues while trying to have a relaxing weekend with our families. -

This was our favorite home to stay in, needs a bit of updates, hd flat screen tv but even without it it was amazing. we will be staying here again!

The house and view are breathe taking- spacious and just awesome. All the bedrooms are big and each has it's own jacuzzi tub. Suana, pool table and hot tub were great also. This is my third time staying in American Dream and I have truly enjoyed each time. The stores are great, awesome food at the local store. Take in a movie if you like- go for a ride on the lake etc., American Dream and Railey Mountain Lake Vacations is a wonderful place to vacation at any season.

My family absolutely loved American Dream. The house is large and spacious and has plenty of living area for the 14 people it sleeps. There are a number of Railey homes that sleep 12-14 people but have a kitchen table that holds 8 or 10. Makes no sense. All of us enjoy eating together, playing games and sitting around one area talking. Liked the best - the large deck,the fact that most of the house overlooks the lake and the 2nd sink and cupboard area. So much space when you have a crowd - but no one feels crowded. The least - the woodpile is a little inconvenient and parking is a little tight and is an adventure when there is snow.

This is a very accomodating house for a family group. Our grandchildren love the open space, and we enjoy the view. The bedrooms are very comfortable though the upstairs bedroom tends to be a bit warm. Plenty of room to spread out. We have rented this house every October for the last seven years.

Very nicely decorated and fully functional with everything needed for your vacation. The views of the lake from the deck are outstanding. The location is central to everything. We walked our dogs every morning and night around the mountaintop neighborhood. The boat dock was very convenient too.
This was out first Deep Creek family vacation and we highly recommend American Dream for your Deep Creek vacation. -

Me and my family had a wonderful time when we were at American Dream. We loved it so much we did not get a chance to go out and see what eles the area had to offer because we stayed in the house the whole time. We really enjoyed the sauna and the big screen T.V. down stairs. I can not forget about the hot tub and the the wonderful view out side. We all loved it and cant waint to get back this summer. There was absolutely nothing that we did not like.

Took a group of girls up to experience DCL for their "senior week" (our family chaperoned) and the house provided a fun place for the girls to have a good time playing games, sharing stories and reminiscing about their high school years. The house was big enough for us to stay upstairs and allow them to have the downstairs. It was well decorated and clean. An added bonus was that dogs were allowed (with fee). Great to find a clean, nice house that allowed dogs. Nice view of lake.
