The view was incredible! I picked the place because of the view, and was nothing short of impressed upon arrival. The house was beautiful and had some great amenities. I have rented through other companies before and by far had the best experience with Railey Mountain. Between customer service, accommodations, and price this was most likely the best rental experience! This was an absolutely glorious vacation and I will be back! Thanks!

My family and I have stayed at a few homes in Deep Creek for the past couple of years and I have to say that this one was one of the nicest. We came to relax and that we did. The Belvedeer was truly a wonderful place to do just that. Very peaceful and nicely decorated. It was not too far from the beach or the local Walmart and other stores. We had a fabulous time and will more than likely return.

This was our second stay at Belvedere. We love the place. I only have a couple suggestions/complaints. The deck needed some TLC. There were about 100 nails popping up that could have cut someone's foot. We hammered most of them down. The TVs were poor. One of them did not work at all in the room I slept in. I don't want to sound like I am complaining but you can't improve if I just say everything was fine. Read more

The Belvedere was an amazing house for all 9 of us to be in. It was spacious. The view from the mountain was extraordinary! It was isolated, quiet, and peaceful. We enjoyed all the amenities. When we had a problem, it was always rectified by a polite staff member. The experience was more than we could have hoped for! I am sure we will be coming back again!

The house was very nicely decorated and clean, but the structure of the house needed work. There was a big crack in the wall in the master bedroom and a big patched area where it looked like someone put a hole in the wall. Also, the main floor bedrooms were very small, with the master bedroom only having a queen, when the spare bedroom had a King. That should be switched in my opinion. Also, the kitchen was pretty sparse when it came to bowls, etc. given that this was suppose to be one of the rental agencies high end rentals, I also would have expected HD TV. That said, we loved the location of the house and thought it was well worth the money. We actually got snow while we were up there, and you definitely need four wheel drive to get to the house, which we did, and the property manager was great about shoveling the driveway and walks for us. It was also nice that the house has wood for the fireplace. Overall, I would rent this house again, just wish they made as much of an effort to update the structure of the house and keep it looking as nice as the decor.

First of all, the staff was very patient and helpful in the home selection process. We ended up with a lovely home that exactly suited our needs.
The folks that plowed us out did not show up till Sunday, leaving us entirely stranded on Saturday, but they did a fabulous job and probably had just been overwhelmed by the volume of snowfall. Completely understandable.
The only thing that prevents this from being a 5 star rating was the housekeeping. The dining room table was sticky and needed a thorough cleaning before we could use it. There was evidence of dog hair everywhere, and the floors were definitely not clean. No firewood had been left for us, although that was in the contract that it would be provided, and a fireplace was one of the things that was very important to us. So disappointing to be stranded in a blizzard and not be able to use the fireplace.
It was a lovely home, beautifully furnished and situated, and the Railey staff was terrific. If the cleaning was better, I'd highly recommend this home.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Belvedere. It had comfortable furniture, the layout was great for two families, it was very clean, and it had everything we needed. The upstairs master bedroom was particularly well-appointed and enjoyable. Our kids enjoyed the pool table and all the TVs, and sledding on the hills beside the house.
It would have been nice if some kitchen staples were there --salt,pepper, dish soap, a dish towel, etc., as I've often found in beach rental properties.

Railey Mountain Lake Vacations made our summer vacation a truly memorable week. The Belvedere was a dream home away from home, spotless, homey, and relaxing. The beds were oh so comfortable, the view was breath taking and the jacuzzi was perfect. We wished we could live there year around. The front yard is a little steep with not much area to play outside games on. But its proximity to the lake and the lake side beach made up for that and more. We just Hopped in the car and in no time we were relaxing and have fun at the beach. The only thing we didn't like was that our vacation was far too short.
