Last winter, we were planning to on a vacation trip with my friends and relatives. We finally picked blue spruce after an extensive search and soon after reaching the vacation home we all agreed that we did the right selection.
We traveled in advesre weather conditions (snow storm with 12inch of accumulation) and we reached the leasing office around 11:30 PM and we were not able to locate the keys. We called the helpline number given to us and they were very cooperative to guide us in the middle of a night. We have really njoyed the stay and this home has everything you expect in a family home. At&t; siganls don't work in the properly location. Sometime this helps when you are on vacation :-)
Last but not the least i forgot my laptop and leasing office quickly recovered it and shipped to me. I would strongly recommend this. -

It's refreshing these days when everything a business tells you they will do...they actually do. Everything went so smoothly and was just as Railey said it would be.

Home is very nice. Clean, large rooms. Two living areas, two dining tables. Laundry is a small up/down, not full size. Deck area is very large with furniture. Fire pit, hot tub, and hammock off the dock. The path to the dock is a little difficult. Grass, rocks and mud the whole way down hill. Once you get to the shore line there are nice stairs and a nice dock. There is another fire pit down here. The dock is kind of a busy area, so it is pretty rough and wavy on the water. We had 5 adults and 3 kids and spent most of our week on the boat and it was very nice. Just wish you could see the dock from the house.

This is one of our absolute favorites to stay at in deep creek. We enjoyed everything. My daughter loved having her own pretty girl room and my son loved the firepit and lake. Would highly recommend this property!

Some minor cleaning and repairs to lights in the bathroom. Master bed needs a step to get into the bed.
The house is very cozy. Second time we have stayed there. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy most of the time we were there this year.
Would love to come back again. -

Blue Spruce is a clean beautiful house that had all the comforts of home inside and out. The pictures just don't show the amount of ammenities. The house accommadated 3 couples during our stay. One complaint though, was that the king master bed, although very clean, was hard as a rock to the point of discomfort. Also, the shower liner in the upstairs bedroom was very moldy. Other than that, I highly recommend this spot.

Great place. Good location. The water is very deep and clear from the dock so excellent swimming with children. The dock is a top of the line aluminum dock and is excellent for relaxing and swimming. the house is great and the grounds are nice if you are looking for a wooded lot. The lake is not visible from the rear deck but the walk down to the water is not far and the path is surrounded by spruces which are beautiful. It is very secluded.The only negaitive I could think of is that it is a steep decent to the waters edge so you can not walk into the water from land. It is safest to go off the dock which was no big deal to us. You get the sunsets too down at the water on the dockand there is a fire pit at the waters edge. We had cocktails on the dock and watched the sunset each night while the kids fished.The sunsets over the lake were incredible.

We received great service from the moment we contacted Railey. We are a kayaking couple, who like a clean, fresh, house to rent and the agents try to match us up with the perfect house. This is our 4th season at Deep Creek Lake and the more we stay the more we want to come back. The location of the Blue Spruce made it easy to get to restaurants and shops.
The best thing about this house was that it had a fresh, clean smell and was well appointed. Access to lake was easy for us & we liked the private dock.
Our only "problem" was that this lovely home was just a bit too big for us. Now that's a problem everyone should have on vacation.

The rental property is very comfortable and is a great location. We enjoyed the closeness to the lake and the peacefulness of the facility.

This place was awesome for Skiing at Whisp. About a 15 minute drive to Whisp. It was roomy, with a nice home-like feeling. Well stocked with kitchen equipment too. All in all - a great place for Parents and kids!

We had a great time at our rental home. It was clean and ready when we got there! We were worried that there wouldn't be enough firewood, but there was plenty! The house was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. We love the location on Lake Shore Drive because it's like being away from everything, but still just a quick drive to the slopes and shopping! I would suggest to the owner that they might want to invest some money in new mattresses. The king size bed had a pillow topper, but it wasn't large enough. We are very disappointed that the owners marked off three holidays next year for themselves! We are now trying to decide if we want to look for a new place to rent or not. Blue Spruce is a bargain for the price! Plenty of parking and Railey even sent someone out to plow the driveway during the snow! When I stopped in the realty office to pick up some catalogs, I mentioned that the bin from the previous renter was still on our porch two days after we checked in. Immediately the bin was picked up! Great job Railey! We were extremely pleased!
