There was 10 adults. Plenty of space to be together playing cards or seperate for a break from one another.
This place is very clean inside. Very pleased to go on vacation and not have to clean the bathroom before using it.
The only complaint was the computer room bed is very hard, but that is personal because there may be someone in your group that needs that. If you don't, do not plan on using this bed for someone. take a blow up mattress.
Very peaceful and enjoyable time.

-gorgeous view of the lake
-nicely accommodated a large family gathering
-Not accessible to 2 wheel drive vehicles in winter. It is not stated anywhere that you need a 4wd vehicle, but you do! Even with the driveway plowed, it was still impossible for us to get out. Our van had to be pushed out by a 4wd jeep.
-It is located on a private drive, and while the driveway is occasionally plowed, the road is not ever plowed.
-Had several unpleasant encounters with a confrontational neighbor, left us feeling unwelcome as renters.
Enjoyed a wonderful family vacation here at Deep Creek Lake.

Home was in good condition when we arrived. No sheets for the pull out bed in the lower level. Thanks for all the fans. they were really needed. this house needs air conditioning. deck was wonderful, but had a few splinters. Loved the view of the lake and the large yard and the dock. Hot tub was very nice. Had trouble with the light switch in the master bath and the mattress in the mster bedroom was too soft.

The house was really beautifully appointed, well furnished and stocked, with gorgeous views all round. Extremely cosy. Hot tub was fantastic too.
The only problem we had was connected with the huge snowfall which made the driveway, especially the sloping portion, not passable to two-wheel drive vehicles and we had to do quite a lot of shovelling to get in and out. We think it should be clearly stated upfront that two-wheel drives would have a major problem accessing the house during the winter period.
A Wet Start, much better ending.

When we arrived Thursday afternoon in late Jan, we found a water pipe broken, water running and the downstairs very wet. Not a good start. But Railey jumped on it pretty fast and mitigated the problem and we were able to move in and function with only minor annoyance. Good job by Railey. Why the owners keep water pipes on in a unheated and uninsulated locked room is beyond me.We will stay again next winter. Really great location for us and a nice overall place with easy access to the lake.
