Our first visit to DCL was great. Five Diamonds was a great choice. Very nice accomadations, well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We loved everything about the property.

My husband and I spent his birthday weekend with our older children in this house.
Pros: Beautiful location; short drive to Wisp Ski Resort; Keyless entry; roomy; nicely decorated; clean; plenty of firewood. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, pots/pans and dishes.
Cons: Driveway plowed but still very hard to drive up; house was very cold for the entire stay...the heat was inconsitent from floor to floor...freezing in the lower level, comfortable on the main level and hot on the top level. Fireplace on main level was used and smoked out the lower level (all flues were correctly set). Walls were paper thin which made for a noisy stay. Water pressure was horrible...shower taking and toilet flushing were a challenge. -

The place was clean and nice. It was roomy and cozy. The price was a bit too high for our group (10 ppl), but if you can get a group of 15 together it be more reasonable.
There were couple of dirty pots in the kitchen cabinet though, but overall I was happy with my stay. -

Five Diamonds is exactly that. A beautiful home that was well appointed. The lake access and view were great. My mom and aunt loved getting out and walking in the private community. I would stay here again.

We invited a group of couples and friends to celebrate a birthday weekend at Deep Creek Lake. The amenities were great, and the house was extremely comfortable. Years later we are all still remembering what a great time we had!

We stayed at 5 Diamonds in June of 2008. We enjoyed the stay very much. There were 9 of us. My husband and I ,our son and his family and our daughter and her family. We especially liked the Great room as there was room for us to all be there and enjoy each other.We liked the location on the dirt road as it was secluded and quiet. We highly recommend it to others.

I have stayed at Five Diamonds five times and I can truthfully say it is my favorite "home away from home". It has a good layout, great decor, it is spacious and has a marvelous view of the lake but with Lake Access prices! There have been times that it is unavailable or the group I am traveling with is too large and everyone always says "Well, it's not quite as nice as Five Diamonds". I would recommend this property to anyone.
