This house has plenty of space to spread out for activities, but the 2 back rooms are a bit small. It's in a great, quiet location and the path to the lake is nice- it's somewhat level and has lights for night time. There are some things that could use updating and maintenance though. Blinds didn't work very easily and most all of the doors stuck, sqeeked or closed hard. The spiral stairs going to the master bedroom are neat looking- but not the most practical when hauling suitcases, etc. We did have some issues with the water when we first arrived- this is common I know with a well, but with proper maintenance we would not have had 2 sick dogs and 2 days with very little water pressure. This was a big inconvenience- but we were pleased with how quickly the problem was resolved. Overall, we really enjoyed the house.
had an enjoyable time

First floor bedrooms were uncomfortable because of poor ventilation. This could have been remedied with either more efficient air circulation or the presence of the smallest BTU air conditioners. Master bedroom was also rather stuffy until I positioned the two floor fans to draw outside air into the room. The only problem with this is that there are no properly working patio door screens in the entire house.
Beautiful yard but house in need of some maintenance.

Absolutely beautiful location. Yard was amazing. The house itself had a great layout for a large family. The problem was the plumbing in the bathroom shared by two bedrooms. You could hear water squishing in and around the floor on the base of the toilet. Maybe some of the wood had rotted, not sure. Also, there were mouse droppings in the pull drawers in the kitchen.
With that being said, it was still a beautiful home. This was back in 2007 so the issues may have been resolved. If not, they need to fix that floor and get some exterminators.

Great location great property, big house, but very musty throughout. Kitchen is nice, upstairs bath nice, but rest of house needs updated for that price. (We've paid a similar price for oceanfront condos in Hilton Head.)
Although the property seemed clean, I woulndt stay again because of the musty, dank smell.
