This house was perfect for the getaway that me and friends had planned in order to enjoy Sonoma and wine country. Mornings on the porch with coffee and chit chat, evenings in the jacuzzi. What an awesome place to get to visit.

Still Light is a very special cottage with every amenity imaginable, from hot tub to viking stove. This is a perfect get away for friends or family. Lots of space to wander around, but close to a plethora of wineries.

To help celebrate a Big-o birthday, three of my best friends joined me to drown my sorrows in Sonoma wine country. My one friend recommended Still Light Pond, and when we reviewed the ratings, photos and ammenities, we quickly decided this was the place.
This gorgeously appointed home is nestled in a gated four acre bucolic setting. Every room is comfortably designed and we were impressed with the provisions. Once you drive through the gates, you have entered your own secluded oasis. No matter where you sit, your view will be enhanced by the beautiful gardens, landscaping, pond and trees. In the mornings, we loved having our coffee on the comfortable porch, and in the evenings we enjoyed a glass of wine there as well. There is a portable heater in case there is a chill in the air. The deck is expansive with sitting areas, tables & chairs and a warm and inviting hot tub.
Inside there is a fabulous open kitchen with a Wolf range and a Sub Z fridge. A spacious island with stools; perfect for gathering while cooking or just over a glass of wine. The kitchen is fully stocked and no detail was overlooked. There is a day bed in the kitchen area (where one of the gals slept) and is comfortable. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, and for those with musical inclinations, a baby grand piano, awaits your usage. There is laundry closet with front-loaded washer and dryer, ironing board etc. The pièce de résistance is the master bedroom. One of the most comfortable beds I've ever experienced and veryspacious for two people. The gas fireplace diffuses nice ambient light and emits nice heat. The best part are the windows, a gorgeous view of the trees, pond and the stars. It feels as if one is sleeping outside. The bathroom has a seperate toilet, slate shower stall, a nice tub that is by the windows for a beautiful view. Plenty of closet space and drawers. The second bedroom is on the opposite side of the house from the master bedroom, with its own nostalgic bathroom which has a claw foot tub/shower with access to the porch. Keep in mind, there is not a closet in the bedroom.
Take a walk towards the pond, and keep walking to visit the "tent" cabin, equipped with a pot belly stove! All in all, one of my most favorite places, and excellent choice, and I absolutely hope I may return to this oasis in the near future! -

If you're looking to find R&R; where it's magical & peaceful, Still Light Pond is the answer! In addition, you'll be surrounded by charming, hand picked antiques, a well appointed house + a very well equipped kitchen.

Great furnishings and all modern conveniences made this a wonderfully relaxing stay. Hot tub and beautiful private grounds were top-notch. Great utensils and such for those who wish to cook in, and a spectacular drive to the ocean. Master guest suite with gas fireplace and wonderful views. Like living in nature but with a roof over one's head.
