My stay at 9400 condos was a mixed bag. The condo itself - nice layout. The two bedrooms are separated by the main living area. Separate bathrooms. Decor - 80's beach style with a heavy dose of purple (to put this mildly).
There were a few maintenance issues - a dodgy front door that requires a certain touch to get in, a light fixture that was out in a bathroom (a bulb in a fixed shade and I wasn't going to risk breaking the fixture to change it), an oven that really needs a cleaning, the carpet in the bright purple bedroom needs replacing. The beds lean towards hard. Nothing major - just a collection of little annoyances. Overall - the place was very clean. Just needs renovation.
The kitchen was more fully equipped than most of the beach/ski rentals I've stayed in. Full cable. No internet. Beach view from a distance.
The rental manager for Century 21 (Laurie) - amazingly helpful and friendly. She helped us get the light fixture taken care (despite the owner not having a maintenance contract with the rental agency). The building manager - umm...not so much. She gave my guest a ton of grief when she attempted to pick up the parking pass. And apparently, the rental manager heard a number of complaints that day about the building manager.
Oh yeah - and we were there during Bike Week (not on purpose). The condo is not soundproofed against extra loud bike mufflers. I don't think anything is soundproofed against Bike Week.
Overall - decent condo. Livable. Not the best I've stayed in. -

This is the best building for staying at OC. There are plenty of condo's to choose from and since it's right on the beach no walking across Ocean hwy. We'll be back next year!

The unit was clean and spacious. I wouldn't call the view an ocean view since you had to about break your nrck to see the beach. The pull out sofa needs to be replaced. It was my bed and I'm almost 70. Also, there was not a mattress cover. YuK

This was our first stay at the 9400 building, room 303 had lots of room and was very clean! Loved that all dishes, glasses, pots and pans were supplied for the rental people, you do not get that to often at most places. Theres was even a cake pan to bake a cake, pizza pans to make your own pizzas, we loved this. There were 8 of us and this room was perfect. Especially the 2nd bedroom with 2 double beds, I have all girls and this room was done and decorated in purple, my girls loved it, considering they are girls of course. Can't wait to go back next year! Also the people were very friendly as well as the employees! Thanks!

We loved the location to bus stops, store's, and did not have to use our own vehicle. Great for beach or pool.

Our beach vacation was fanatastic. Our unit was great being right on the beach. Also being right on the 3rd floor was very convenient as feel just one floor up from the pool and the beach! Didn't have to use the elevators much at all. Unit could use a little updating but it was in good condition.

Bea Lombardi was excellent. She made me feel welcome and made sure everything was in order. the condo was very nice and had a nice view of the ocean. We enjoyed looking at the sunrise from the balcony. We plan to stay at the 9400 condos in the future.

This is 2 BDR, 2 Bath condo. One of the bathroom showers didn't work at all and the tub did not drain (looked like someone had tried to fix it and broke the drain, screw to the tub spicket was just laying on the side of the tub when we arrived). We couldn't use that bathroom to shower -frustrating considering we were paying for 2 bathrooms not just 1. We reported the problem and didn't get response til next afternoon and they told us to hold spicket release longer which didn't work - they never fixed it!
The blinds in one of the bedrooms would go up but wouldn't release down so you couldn't block the sun out (again, looked like someone had tried to fix this and failed). The other bedroom had short curtains hung above the windows and when we arrived one side of those curtains was literally hanging off the wall (the bolt in the wall looked like it had been replaced several times because the nail hole was really big).
The garbage disposal didn't work at all and there was no sign to tell you this so we didn't realize it til after we washed the dishes - yuck!
Neither bathroom was cleaned well when we arrived -there was hair in both shower stalls and soap scum on the bathtubs. This unit does not have an ocean view or pool view unless you look way to right when you are sitting on balcony - its looks over the side parking lot instead.
The rental agent was very nice when we were booking and even had the unit cleaned early so that we could check in early with our 8 month old baby so he could get nap time - which was very, very nice but the condition of the condo itself was disappointing and not being able to use the 2nd bathroom shower was a big inconvenience for all of us especially when everyone wants to shower off after a long day on the beach. The parking spot for this unit is right outside the main front door of the condo which was very convenient for packing and unpacking.
For the price paid, I was diappointed and probably wouldn't rent this unit again
