Our 12th year at the Sea Watch. Our 3rd year in this great unit. Very modern and in good repair. Free Wifi is nice. Lots of recent movies are under the TV. Chairs are included. The owners have even paid for an umbrella to be set up on the beach. Nice to not have to pack this stuff in the car. We like having an end unit. There is a private area to leave beach stuff outside. Feel free to request this unit, but don't try to take our week!
There is only 1 thing that would make this unit better

This unit and the amenities in this unit are excellent. There is only one thing that I would change if it were possible - and that is to move it from the street end of the building towards the ocean end. The views, etc. are amazing and perfect, the location of the building is great and the building itself is very well maintained. We, however, like to leave the patio doors open at night and listen to the ocean. Because this unit is closer to the street than the ocean the sounds from the street drown out the sounds of the ocean.
Apartment is cramped and has a terrible ocean view

I've been to Ocean City for 10+ yrs; this is my first time at the Sea Watch. This is a really cute condo, freshly decorated in beachy colors. But, it's farthest back from the ocean, providing a pitiful view. There's a great view of the bay & street from front & back balconies. The noise of the traffic was very loud day & night - no nice lull of ocean waves. The condo was clean, but cramped. The living rm has only a sofa & chair so not much room for a larger family to hang out together (glad we didn't have our whole family of 7). The dining table inside was too big for the space & difficult to get around. The master bathrm was tiny and the toilet was a tight squeeze. The beds were comfortable (didn't try the sofa beds) & there was plenty of clothes storage. The back balcony table was also too tight to fit around & placed so that you felt like you were staring into the neighbor's living room. Front balcony was private and nice. The smoke alarm went off every time we cooked; we had to take turns waving a towel in front of it to stop the ringing until done cooking. The thermostat went up 1-2 degrees every time we cooked & took hours to cool the place down. Hot water ran out before 2 showers. Kitchen was well stocked but no broiler pan for the steaks we bought. The Sea Watch game room was a ripoff - I was only willing to pay for air hockey more than once. The wooden playground structures were fun for our child, but need fresh paint & sealer. There are only baby swings. The pool was dirty & full of sand & unsupervised. A woman took her mentally handicapped pre-teen child's diaper off in front of everyone - threw it in the trash can unrolled & then let her daughter w/obvious potty problems into the pool. She then proceeded to keep wiping the phlegm coming out of her daughter's nose into the pool water repeatedly. Everyone else, including us, vacated the area. Overall, I'd go elsewhere next time for a better view, less noise and more elbow room.

The owners have really taken pride in this condo, and you can see that they have really tried to make this condo a great and comfortable place to spend during your vacation. We have stayed in this unit before and love it. Now with the updated entertainment, with flat screen TVs, it has really left an impression. We will definitely be going back next year :).
Thank you so much to the owners for doing such a great job!

This was our 10th wonderful summer at the Seawatch. As always, the rental agents, the room and the facility were exceptional. The only complaint (aside from an earthquake and hurricane Irene) was the change in the check-in process. In years gone by we were able to go to the office to say that we had arrived. If the room was not ready, it would be moved up on the housekeeping queue. This year, a list was posted of rooms that were ready. If your room was not ready, you would need to wait until housekeeping happened to clean it. Units were actually being cleaned that were not being occupied before units with people sitting in the lobby. According to the Century 21 staff, who I believe, this change was implemented by the housekeepers. Regardless of the process, our family will continue to stay at this fine facility.

We stayed in this rental in August 2008 and were very disappointed, since this unit was very run down and dirty. Since then there are new owners who have totally renovated the whole space. It was great, the owners have really done a wonderful job and it was a pleasure this year. We had a very positive experience this year. The only reason we did not give it 5 stars is because the fold out bed in the den seemed to slope toward the middle and is not comfortable for adults. We put our children on there and they were fine. I would definitely recommend this place!!
