    • Disappointed in my unit
      Maryland

What an outdated used up unit from the early 1980s

Left on 08/24/2012 for a stay in August 2012

The carpet is filthy. The couches are old with the cushions totally flat and no support left to them.

There is nothing in the kitchen - no sharp knives, decent pans, no blender, no toaster, just an old filthy electric range and equally as bad rusty toaster oven...

The Braemar Towers is a wonderful property - but we will not stay in 1913 again untill it is cleaned, updated and the kitchen refurbished!

      Disappointing

Left on 07/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012

The living room furniture was dirty, sand and food crumbs on cushions and underneath. The carpet was dirty and the kitchen not very well equipped. The teflon on the cookware was worn and we bought a few pots and pans to cook with, the gevalia coffee maker didn't work, the refrigerator door was rusted and the bathrooms were dated.

Renting a 3-bedroom end unit facing the ocean and pool

Left on 09/08/2011 for a stay in August 2011

We have previously stayed at the Braemar about 15 or 16 times, always in a 2-bedroom unit. This time we had our children and grandchildren with us (5 adults + 2 children in total) and rented the pricey end unit of the south building facing the pool and ocean. Things that we loved about the unit -- the view, the large dining room table, and the comfortable porch furniture.

Things that were disappointing: The living room was missing the lounge chair and the balcony was missing the round table which were both displayed in the unit's online pictures. Also, the unit's beach locker did not have any beach chairs. Very disappointing, especially for a pricey end unit.

Things that we would change if we could: 1) The master bedroom should have a king sized bed. 2) The 3rd bedroom had a trundle bed; it should have two twin beds. 3) The 2nd bedroom was missing a headboard, night table and lamp by the bed.

Other issues: Three closet doors did not have knobs. Most lamps did not have 3-way light bulbs. The door of the refrigerator had ugly marks on it. The master bathroom door did not lock. The kitchen sink, toaster oven and dishwasher should be upgraded. There was a sign not to put the plastic dishes in the microwave. Then the unit should have microwaveable dishes!

We were very happy with the realtor who was very responsive when we reported that the laundry room doors did not open and that a lamp did not have a bulb. And they said that they would order knobs for the closet doors.

In spite of the problems mentioned, our family had a terrific week In Ocean City at the Braemar. We just would not rent this particular unit again unless all the issues had been resolved and the upgrades made.

morning..we 4 teenagers its was very inconvenient. I realize things happen but with the amount of money we payed for the place there was never an apologize or solution except to wait till the next day. I will never rent from century 21 again

      Manager

We are very sorry that your stay was not to your satisfaction. Unfortunately sometimes plumbing problems do occur and we try to solve them as quickly as possible. Sometimes repairs can be made within the same day and unfortunately sometimes service people are not able to attend to them until the following day. We do apologize if this was inconvenient and hope that you will reconsider your decision for the future.

be sure the bed info is updated!

Left on 07/27/2011 for a stay in July 2011

We arrived expecting a bunk bed (twin/full) as stated in the contract and video tour, only to find that it had been replaced by a queen bed. Century 21/NH please be sure that the owners keep you apprised of changes in bed size as renters come with their own linens!

      An Awesome vacation experience !

Left on 07/14/2009 for a stay in June 2009

My husband and I were blessed to have our children and grandchildren join us for a week at OC, MD at Braemar Towers. We rented 1913 which was a beautifully decorated and very comfortable condo overlooking the ocean. How relaxing to wake up to see the sunrise over the ocean and watch the dolphins, pelicans and sea gulls right from our balcony. We loved the convenience of walking right out onto the beach and also having a crystal blue pool to swim in and relax around. We aprecited the ease of check in and out and convenience to shopping, dining and fun activities within walking.
This is definately one of our favorite vacation spots!
