This condo is falling apart and is in need of a complete renovation. It should not be rented in it's present condition.

MDGreat Location, Not a great room
Left on 08/18/2012 for a stay in July 2012
We have stayed in this condo three years on a row. Each year the condo gets more and more run down and there is little done to repair the damage from the previous years. Blinds don't work, dishwasher is a wreck, washer works but the dryer takes two or three cycles, lights busted, and mold in the bathrooms. We have family who stay in other rooms in the same condo for the same price with much better set ups. Pass on this condo. We are not going back in 2013.

The condo overall was comfortable and the view from the balcony was great. Everything was clean and I liked the fact the walls were not just basic white. The colored walls were a nice change from a typical condo. Two drawbacks were the furniture on the balcony was old, worn and not very comfortable and the shower heads really need changed.

On the whole this is a good condo, but suffering from minor neglect. We love the Diamond Beach 39th street location and the easy access to the beach. The beds were reasonably comfortable and the furniture sturdy enough that I didn't worry about my kids accidentally breaking something (unlike the glass-topped coffee tables found in some units). The cleaning provided by the maid service was adequately done and what I expected. However, this unit needs a deep, thorough "Spring Cleaning." The cabinets need a good scrubbing (aluminum foil does not make a good cabinet liner), the top of the fridge was filthy, and the couch needed all the cushions pulled off and cleaned underneath them. We rented a condo with a kitchen so that we could save on expenses by cooking meals rather than always carrying in. Although the kitchen did have typical items, a lot of them were old and/or rusted so that I did not dare use them to prepare food. Luckily I was able to borrow some pans from a neighbor! The dishwasher needs updating; it does not clean the dishes well. The washer/dryer is significantly rusted. I had my doubts, but it did get the job done. There was some damage to the apartment that had not been repaired (a hole in the wall from a doorknob and a broken curtain pull on the balcony door. The damage didn't really affect our visit, but it did affect our overall impression of the condo. All said and done we had a great time this summer during our week at Diamond Beach, and I expect we will be willing to stay there again. It wasn't fabulous, but it was adequate. A thorough cleaning, fresh items in the kitchen to replace ones too old or rusted for use, and other minor touches of TLC could make unit 515 at Diamond Beach a unit I can't wait to visit again!

I like the location a lot. Family oriented beach and close to stores. However, I thought the unit needed to be up-updated. The shower heads were bad with no water pressure. Mold was detected around the shower doors. Base boards in all rooms were very dirty. See the base board trim along the left side of the refrigerator - discusting. The appliances, like the disposal, which do not work should be removed. The kitchen could have been equiped with other appliances, cookware and utinsels. I would not book this unit again.

This was the best vacation.
We've been a few times at Ocean City. This condo was the best we've had. It's very clean and comfortable for two families of 4. Everything was walks away. Eventhough it oceanside, we had a great view of the beach and the dolphins.
The only least thing we had to say:...Check out between 9-10...Too early!!
Many thanks to Century 21 New Horizon. Your service was fast and simple. Keep up the good work!! -

The location on 39th street was great! It allowed for family fun on the beach right outside and yet was close to the boardwalk and stores.
The condo was clean and well prepared for new guests. The water pressure in the showers was a little light but it really was insignificant to the low price for the unit and location.
I would definitely stay there again and use Century 21 New Horizons again as they were very professional and helpful. -

The location of this condo is very good. The beach was never too crowded. We found it to be a great location for walking to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The condo itself needs to be updated, especially the kitchen. The icemaker did not work, the dishwasher had a note on it that said "do not leave unattended", who wants to sit in the condo at the beach to run the dishwasher, the oven wasn't accurate and the trash compacter had a note that said "do not use". The condo wasn't very clean when we got there. The bathrooms, which are very out of date, needed a good cleaning and there were chips in the seat cushions of the sofa. We had relatives staying in 516 for the same price and their condo was updated and much cleaner. So, to sum up, great location not so great place.

Pittsburgh, PANice place to stay and good location
Left on 07/31/2009 for a stay in July 2008
The location was very convenient, just a few blocks from the boardwalk and a short walk to the beach. The amenities are acceptable. Appliances and furniture were clean, in good condition and everything worked. The downside is that the size of the apartment is a somewhat small, but if you are spending most of your time on the beach and out at night, it should work fine.

PAGreat location... maintenance need
Left on 07/09/2009 for a stay in August 2008
The location was awesome and easy to find. The building appeared to be well maintained from the outside. However, the washing machine was broken, and the master shower head would not stop leaking. We quickly found out the shower was leaking onto the neighbor below tile. Not good.
Outside of the issues it was a great stay. Beds and furniture were a little dated but sufficient. -

The place was very spacious and right on the beach. There is no additional parking during the daytime if you have more cars than parking permits but the convention center is across the street and it didn't seem to be a problem to park there. The beds were a bit uncomfortable, especially the sofa bed. Bathrooms weren't fabulous but they did the trick. Not bad for the price and location.
