The Sea was a great place to stay, was not happy with my unit 1712. We had no hot water. Their were 5 of us and never had hot water to shower. The Master bedroom shelf in the bedroom fell on my leg. I would recommend that the ownes take care of these issues. About the Sea Watch itself I would be back but not in that unit. I have been going to Ocean City for 5 years and this was the worst unit I have had.

This is the second time we had a vacation at the Sea Watch. We love the fact it is right on the beach with a view that we could sit and watch forever. The condo is just the right size for the six of us and the price is very reasonable. I would definitely recommend staying here. We will hopefully return again next year.

One of the elevators near us were out of order the entire week, and the other was down intermittently. The whole side of the building we were on (South) was supported by temporary lolly poles and the roof had some kind of a vice on it. Made me wonder if it was safe. The building shows signs of wear that are not being repaired. The elevators were stifling hot, always wet and humid, no air, and broke down three times while we were there for a week. We ended up loading our car overnight to avoid the incredibly long wait for the elevators during the day and evening hours. Our apartment was overstuffed with tables lamps and fake flowers and under stocked with kitchen supplies such as ladle, blender, baking pans. Couldn't access the closet in the bedroom because the bed blocked the door. It was ok since the closet was stuffed with stuff so there was no room for our clothes anyway. We had aluminum disposable pans supplied for cooking... rather than real stuff. I couldn't even make a spaghetti dinner without borrowing utensils. My advice: Do not arrive on a Saturday. Do not stay on the south side of the building.

Unfortunately the unit is need of updating. The minute we walked in we had problems. The faucet under the sink was leaking into a bucket that was filled with stagnant water, the levolor blinds did not work in the master bedroom and were missing slats. The 2nd T.V. never worked. The repair on the sink was made very promptly though. The carpeting was old and dirty and kitchen had alot of wear on it. The silverware in drawer was put back dirty. Kitchen was over cramped. Furniture needs to be replaced.

this place has something for everyone. while sometimes the elevators were a bit of a hassle the overall stay was enjoyable. My 5 yr old loved the pools and playground and our teenagers loved to sleep in and enjoy the beach later in the day. very convenient to shopping and restaraunts. The unit itself was ok, not the greatest, but it was a beach rental.

Sea Watch 1712 was very nice. It is a great place to spend with your family. We have 3 children under the age of 5 and it was convenient, clean and over all very accomadating. The outside pool was very nice as well as the inside pool. I would recommend this unit!
