Seawatch 1800 has an unbeatable view of the beach and the ocean, it is spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped and clean. There are signs of wear, particularly on the carpet and on some of the interior closet doors, which no longer run smoothly. The king-sized bed in the master bedroom is excellent for those who like firm beds. We've rented this unit many times. If you can overlook some carpet stains, the place is clean, roomy and beautiful in the sunlight. A parking garage guarantees a week's accessible parking for $40.00, with big carts for moving your stuff in easily. New elevators and a well-kept-up pool and recreation area make this overall an excellent vacation experience.

I rented three condos at the Seawatch during the last week in august. My husband and I stayed in this condo which was the more expensive of the three units. We have been renting condos for over 30 years in OC. The biggest problem with this condo is that all the mattresses are abysmally poor. My husband and I were in physical pain by the second night. The carpets are filthy. The unit that I rented for my son and his wife, and the other unit I rented for my daugther and her family, had good bedding. Those units were also nicely decorated and had comfortable balcony furnishings. This condo (1800) had only 2 battered chairs to try to enjoy the boasted views, the other 4 chairs were uncomfortable small plastic. There is also noticeable mold and mildew in the unit. This unit is desperate for attention to make it a comfortable and desirable rental.

The view from the balcony was truly wonderful. The interior is somewhat dated. The carpet needs attention, but is as expected in a rental. A kitchen cabinet is missing a door and needs attention. The clothes dryer doesn't seem to dry properly probably needs the vents cleaned out or a new heating element. The furnishings are dated but still comfortable. The drawers in the North bedroom and master bath do not close properly and the closet doors are difficult to open. I remain open minded, we stayed at the end of the season and I am sure these issues are adressed prior to the beginning of the new season. The patio furniture needs to be replaced. For the last 3 years there is one chair that has broken webbing that needs to be replaced or fixed. The new doors opening to the balcony were replaced prior to our stay in 2010 and work great and was a welcome correction. The staff, security, court yard and maintenance folks were terrific. All in all, our stay was great, I highly recommend this unit and facility to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy the beach and shore area. I am also looking forward to making arrangements for our stay in 2012. We did not want to leave.
We paid a premium for the large ocean-front apartment, with the understanding that wifi would be installed before our stay (it was not). The furniture was partially old and some doors and drawers non-functional. The front closet was stuffed full in a disorderly chaos with various beach items. There were some hangers in the apartment, mostly insubstantial, deformed wire ones. The view of the ocean and beach on the other hand was magnificent. Although not our taste in style, it does appear that the owners did once make a thoughtful effort to furnish the apartment. The bathrooms were not thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. Century 21 people were friendly and helpful.

We loved our stay at Sea Watch with so much to do for the whole family! Room 1800 was fantastic with great views and very spacious condominium. The only thing I could think to improve the stay in 1800 is the King size bed in the middle room is not comfortable on the one side only and the pull out couch in the LR is not comfortable. However, that being said, we loved it and would definitely stay there again.

My family has been vacationing at the SeaWatch for the past ten years - every summer. This is the first time we 'treated' ourselves to a 'front' unit. It was simply spectacular! We continue to due so because of the amenities, location and security. The SeaWatch is in the only perfect spot in OC, MD. With the mall and movie theatres right across the street...no one else can compare...even the buildings surrounding the SeaWatch. I'm already looking forward to next summer.

We've stayed in this unit a number of times before. The view is spectacular and the furnishings are up to snuff for a beach place. They just redid the sliding door and screens, which was much needed and much appreciated. Loud construction work in the unit two floors above was halted when the Century 21 Rental office lady intervened, for which we were very grateful. It made the difference between a wonderful week and a week of daily headaches. I doubt this will usually arise as a problem, since surely condo owners have agreed with each other to make wholesale improvements only during the off season. Or so I hope. But the unit is fine, sunny, well-equipped and our stay was as good as we could have hoped.

I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE RENTAL THAT WE HAD. THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT OR REPAIR. THE STOVE DIDN'T WORK PROPERLY, ONLY COOKS ON HIGH AND FRONT BURNERS DIDN'T WORK. THE CARPET AND FURNITURE ARE IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT OR A GOOD CLEANING. THE DISHWASHER LEAKED AND A TOWEL WAS STUFFED UNDER IT WITH A NOTE SAYING THAT IT LEAKED. WE NEVER USED IT. THE BEST THING ABOUT THE UNIT IS THE SPECTACULAR VIEW! ALL IN ALL I WOULD SAY THAT I WOULD NOT RENT AGAIN UNLESS THE UNIT WAS UPDATED. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE SEA WATCH HOTEL AND ALL OF ITS AMENITIES,BUT VERY UNHAPPY WITH THE UNIT THAT WE RENTED.
