We stayed at the Colony apartments for a few days last weekend, as a last minute mini vacation and fell in love with it. The management was very sweet and helpful during check in. They gave us a great little map with a number of great restaurants that the locals love. Our apartment was much bigger than what I expected it to be and the balcony/view was unbeatable. The amenities in the apartment were also great. We cooked breakfast every morning and ate outside on our balcony, it was a great way of saving a little bit of money and still having a great time! I highly recommend the Colony apartments. I have been coming to ocean city and the Boardwalk for years, but never realized that there was such a hidden gem right there at such an affordable price! we will definitely come back!

Left on 05/19/2011 for a stay in July 2010
We parked and didn't have to move the car again for the week. For a family of 5, we bussed to the White Marlin Open and Jolly Rogers and anywhere we needed to go easily. Other than that - everything was in walking distance - or reachable with the bike rentals just downstairs! Having to use the old sleeper sofa desired a couple of spring replacements and we really needed some laundry machines installed on the covered roof for our use but we managed. The location can't be beat!!! The black-out curtains and air-conditioner units kept the late night crowds from keeping us up. We used the kitchen a couple of times to save on extra spending and ate at the ample table plenty even if we brought bagels up from downstairs (daily!). Kids would have liked pool access but we beached and took advantage of the boardwalk everyday! Will definitely look into booking for our next trip!
