Large, Clean and close to beach and boardwalk

Our Shore Home is roomy (over 1800 square feet), clean, comfortable and convenient. This second floor condo is perfect for extended families or multiple families who would like to vacation together. The rooms are very large and comfortable; there are five bedrooms and two baths. There is also a finished third floor available to rent with additional sleeping for four plus a queen sleeper sofa. This area also provides a large additional bathroom and a kitchenette. Contact owners about use of this additional floor.

The big 12x26 deck off the back includes table and chairs and a gas grill. Below the deck is an enclosed outside shower and d...ressing area. Below the front steps is an enclosed area where beach supplies can be locked up. There are eight beach tags available for your use. The home is located at First Street in the quiet north end just one and a half blocks from the beach and boardwalk. Within a two block walk is a great pizza shop, ice cream shops, a deli and one of the finest restaurants on the island (The Island Grill).

On the boardwalk at First Street is Brown's Restaurant (Great Water Ice and Homemade Donuts!), and the Life Guard Station with rest rooms, fountains, foot shower and First Aid available. A short walk down the Boardwalk brings you to the amusements, shopping, and a multitude of eateries. The Catholic Church is one block away and the Ocean City Tabernacle is five blocks. At The opposite end of First Street (about 5 blocks) is the bay with fishing charters, boat and jet ski rentals, and crabbing. The Ocean City beaches are all protected by Life Guards. There are vendors on the beach who rent umbrellas and chairs. Ocean City is a very family-friendly resort. The boardwalk has no gambling or alcohol; it does have many places to eat, buy souvenirs, play miniature golf, enjoy water parks and amusements and of course purchase salt water taffy.

Additional Location Information

Our home is located in a residential neighborhood with some restaurants, delicatessens, pizza shops, ice cream shops and variety stores mixed in. Many are located within a two block walk. The beaches are clean and well-kept; our First St. Beach has the advantage of having the Life Guard Headquarters located there. This affords beach goers of water fountains, foot showers, rest rooms and first aid if necessary. Guests who stay at our home have done alot of swimming and playing on the beach, but have also gone fishing, golfing, crabbing, jet skiing, parasailing and even taken the 20 minute drive to Atlantic City to try their luck in the casinos.
