14th steet, bayside.During the peak season this property rents Friday to Friday or Monday to Monday. Mini-weeks are available from Monday to Friday or Friday to Monday. Enjoy all downtown has to offer within the convenience of a quiet neighborhood. Bay Island is situated just one block from the Ocean City Library, 3 blocks from the beach and boardwalk, and is close to many fine eating establishments. This spacious two bedroom, two bath townhouse comes equipped with central heat and air, 3 private balconies (one screened) washer/dryer, dishwasher, 2 color TV's, DVD & VCR, and two car parking. Sleeps 8. Sorry, No Pets. Non-Smoking.

To begin, I hesitate at giving this rental the review it deserves for fear that if anyone finds out how nice of a place it is, that it won't be available for us next time. It was clean upon arrival, had all the amenities you could need for cooking, eating, toys for the kids at the beach and even some nice little extras like dishwasher soap and some coffee already stocked (Thanks, I needed a cup when I arrived). The large bathrooms and plenty of hot water for the entire family were so appreciated. The spacious bedrooms and living room gave enough sleeping room for all of us. There was even a gas grill out back with an extra propane bottle. This was damaged in a storm that suddenly blew in, but maybe it will be replaced. There was even a spare charcoal grill also. Calling the rental office was very pleasant when I reported the damage the next morning. Nice people to work with. There is even a bicycle in the house if desired. I did forget to mention that the rear tire was flat to the rental office because we never were interested in riding. As for the location, this was perfect. A quiet street in front and a large parking lot out back which made sitting on any of the three balconies a pleasure.Shade trees over our cars in the parking lot kept the vehicles cool, although the only time we actually had to drive our entire stay was the one trip to the grocery store. The walk was short to the boardwalk and beach, even for the kids. Straight out on the beach put us beside a lifeguard chair which made a perfect landmark for everyone while swimming. The distance on the boardwalk all the way to the pier made for a pleasant walk. Not a long distance to walk, but the trolley is there as an alternative. As for the price..., for the conveniences, the amount of room for many and the location of this rental, the price is a bargain. As I titled this review, if this place is available next time, "I'm Coming Back!"

We like the size of the home and all of the rooms that it had. The location to the beach and the boardwalk were great. The beds were uncomfortab;e and there were things missing in the kitchen. The last thing was that the vaccums that were in the unit did not work. The Dirt Devil did not pick anything up and the bigger one was completely broken.

Thank you for your reply. We have forwarded your comments on to the property owner. She is very proactive regarding customer satisfaction. Unfortunately we have not had any other complaints about the beds, vacuum or kitchen equipment. All other customers have reported that the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked.

The home's location, amenities, and price were an essetial part of making our first extended stay in OC an unforgettable success. Its cleanliness, furnishings, extras (beach gear, BBQ grill, kitchen gadgets) were wonderful. Located at 14th street, we all walked everywhere we wanted to go. It completely exceeded our expectations. The only down side was the sofa -bed's significant sag. With its great location and features, this is far more than a property or a beach rental. It is truly a home at the beach. We look forward to returning to this home in the future.
