Located at the south end of Ocean Shores, the beach is only a 5-minute stroll from Moss Landing. Out on Damon Point, which is the spit of land going out into the Jetty, the Snowy Owls have made their home for the last couple of springs. It's about a mile hike to view the owls when they are there. Just don't let Fido off the leash. Be sure to practice good owl etiquette!
The Ocean Shores Interpretive Center is close by and is a bit like a mini-museum with nature exhibits.
Ocean Shores is one of the most popular beach towns in Washington and provides activities such as horseback riding, moped rentals, race cars, bowling, and lots more.

We have 3 small dogs so it's very important to us to find accommodations that take them. We used to stay at hotels but find that smaller houses/cabins to be so much easier. Not to mention they are more quiet and private which is what we want when we get out of the busy city.
The cabin is so nice (pictures don't do it justice) and cozy. And location is nice since it's out of town. It was great to kick back and relax, and we enjoyed the hot tub also. We would definitely stay here again, and I've already recommended it to friends. -

We had a family gathering at Ship's Quarters at Moss Landing, and I can honestly say that it was one of the most relaxing places I've ever stayed. From the hot tub on the porch to the fireplace in the living room to the soft, comfortable bed, it was just perfect. The movie loft was really a nice bonus, complete with surround sound. For anyone looking for a unique place to stay, I highly recommend that you give this cabin a try. I definitely plan to spend more time at Moss Landing Cabins.

My fiance and I were in much need of a getaway. He happened upon the listing for Moss Landing, so we decided to try a new place. We loved it and can't wait to go back! We also can't wait to take the kids there as we know they will enjoy it as much as we did.
Just a short walk to the public access to the beach and we were tossing the frisbee for our lab in the surf, coming back to watch a movie on the big screen with surround sound in the loft, warming up in the hot tub and then snuggling by the fire...it was perfect. Tom, Sonja, and Juno (their adorable lab) make you feel right at home. So if you are in need of relaxation and comfort...want cleanliness and coziness...stay here. We know we'll be back as soon as we can! -

We've stayed in a few places in Ocean Shores, but we will definitely stay at Moss Landing again. Being a builder by trade, my husband was totally impressed with the workmanship that went into building this cabin. I loved how it felt so much like home (the bed was Sooo comfy!), and our black lab, Burgandy, fell in love with the beach (of course). It was great having a hot tub right on our own porch, We even got to see the stars -- imagine that! Kicking back by the fireplace and sipping wine...doesn't get any better than that! The owners have just finished another really amazing cabin called Captain's Quarters, and it is perfect for couples. The built-in captain's bed is amazing! What a great place to vacation. Can't wait to go back!
