Real whitewater view from large balcony w/180 degree view! Small, cozy and cute 540 sq.ft. upper level apt. w/ a patio underneath the balcony with table&chairs.; 1 bed/1 bath, full kitchen. Large balcony 13.x19 w/chairs & umbrella, bbq. Beach chairs provided. Steps down to beach immediately next to apt. Up to 4 persons responsible non-smoking only please. Small dog may be okay. Linens are supplied, no maid service. Laundry facility avail. after Feb. 1. Older apt. fully renovated in 2009, very quiet , only 2 units in the bldg. 10 steps up to the apt. w/ 1 parking space. Walking distance to downtown Oceanside and Oceanside Harbor and Village. 40 min. to downtown San Diego/Zoo/ Sea World, 45 min. to Disneyland, 15 min. to Legoland, 25 min. to Wild Animal Park. Kayak rentals avail at Oceanside Harbor, surf lessons, beautiful San Luis Rey Bicycle trail 2 blks away, you can rent our 2 bikes!

Wonderful apartment, very clean and well equipped. Deck has ocean views, including sunsets, with nice table and chairs. Walk to the beach in two minutes, walk to the pier in ten. Also able to walk to many restaurants in the area, so the location was perfect. Lovely, comfortable king bed with nice bedding and big closet. We recommend breakfast at Swami's, which is about a 15 minute walk (it's on Mission). Highly recommend this guest apartment. Owners are very helpful.

I thoroughly enjoyed my solo getaway at this lovely beach place! It is perfectly located, just off the beach but wonderful views and easy access. It is clean, cozy and very safe for a solo traveler, and Hans and Sharon go way out of their way to make your stay perfect. I can't wait to return and bring my husband!

My husband and I stayed here in april/May of 2012 and it was perfect for us! Loved the view! Loved all the attention to small details! It was wonderful! We hope to stay there again.

We had the most romantic vacation ever! The setting is private, the view is breathtaking, the ambience is incredible. Much thoughtfulness was put into making this place a beautiful,cozy home away from home. No detail was overlooked. We are grateful to Hans and Sharon for sharing your beautiful home with us...much better than a five star hotel! We can not wait to book again!

My husband and I have been coming here for the last 4 years and we absolutely love it! Oceanside is a great little town, with a fun street fair on Thursdays and a nice farmers market. Hans and Sharon's condo is lovely and perfect for us. We love lounging on the deck that overlooks the ocean and wondering down to the beach for a stroll on the pier. There are some great restaurants in the area; we highly recommend The Sushi Joint and The Breakfast Club.
Life slows down so much when we are there and whenever I feel overwhelmed I think of the next time we get to go to the perfect little condo in Oceanside. It is truly my happy place.Response from Hans Schroeder - 07/21/2012

This place is great! My girlfriend and I had the perfect getaway here. The place is very quiet; it's not on the road, so there is not passerby's walking around the property, and there is a nice staircase right in front of the apartment straight to the beach. Hans and Sharon, the owners, were very friendly and hospitable, and even left us a complimentary bottle of champagne. The five star rating is not unwarranted.
