The full kitchen and living room open up onto an oceanfront balcony, which spans the entire length of the home. There are two bedrooms and two baths, and one bedroom has an ensuite bath. My daughter and I stayed at P9201-0 the first week in February 2013. We enjoyed our stay, felt very safe. House is right on the beach, enjoyed our walk to the pier and breakfast on the pier. Oceanside has plenty to do, good restaurants, movie theater, convenient to train and highway for roadtrips. We really had fun on our train wine tour. Only negative would be sharing the patio with the downstairs guests, ours happen to be 10 college kids. I would have prefered the patio to be separated so they would not have had access to our patio and hot tub because we did not even go down that day, they were using the entire patio and both hot tubs.

We received all our check in info prior to arriving so we could go right in. When we opened the the door all we could see was ocean. As far as I am concerned it was better than advertised. Everything we needed was there. All we needed were groceries for our stay.
This location is fabulous as it is right on the beach with a back yard you can truly enjoy with lounge chairs and hot tub. The beach is close to private, the unit was very clean and obviously well cared for. The only small problem we had was swiftly taken care of by well trained staff. I would recommend this to any couple or family who want a clean safe place to stay and enjoy. This was our first stay of which I can say will likely be many more. Hats off to Beachfront Only!

House was cleanest we had seen, and kitchen was best-stocked. Linens plentiful. Ocean view fantastic, nice patio area with furniture & jacuzzi. Inside furniture comfy. Allowed dogs (hurray,) but had to use long stairway to get out to walk them all day. Condo is on busy street, hence traffic noise, plus it is 2 blocks from coaster train, which toots horn every half hour from 6 am to 12 pm. Not used to all the noise, as our street is quiet. No closet in master and small bathroom, so one of us used the other bedroom & bathroom. Slight odor of natural gas in
kitchen from stove. Oceanside needs to enforce "pick-up doodoo" laws, which we are used to, because "it" was everywhere.
Rental staff, Nancy, extremely nice and called to check on us during the week.
Loved driving around Carlsbad and touring
the San Luis Rey Mission; both very close. Overall, OK stay but would have preferred a quieter location. -

Everything was great!
Our only disappointment was that the patio didn't match the picture. The gazebo was gone and a few other things were different. I suggest up-dating your picture just so all expectations can be satisfied. Also, one other suggestion would be to give guests a way to clean the sand out of the spa. Even though we rinsed off sand can still get in. It would have been nice to have a manual spa vacuum to get the sand out.
But otherwise you do a great job of representing your property. I would rent this property again and definitely choose a “beachfrontonly” property first!

The condo located at 1029 South Pacific is extremely nice and perfectly located. Management at Beachfront Only is very responsive to your needs. Problems are handled without delay.
We have stayed in several places in Oceanside over the years and the condos handled by Beachfront Only are superior to all other condos we have rented. -

Five stars on all of the above. My grandchildren loved the proximity to the beach. The condo felt like home. Our five year old didn't want to leave the beach. He was getting braver and braver. Wonderful pictures of him in his wetsuit.
Public Relations by the rental staff was "heart warming". --checked to see if we were ok and if we needed anything. We had some difficulty with the umbrella while we were having lunch in the patio. We called maintenance and they came by within 10 minutes with another umbrella. Great service by very professional people.
The condo was spotless. Very clean--everything we needed to be comfortable away from home was available. A special thank you for the coffee grinder, that was a plus. I don't remember the last rental we did in San Diego having all the added extras--like laundry soap, dryer sheets, dishwasher soap etc. that was great. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a "home" away from home. We hope to do it again when the weather is warmer.

We had a great time at this property. We planned our vacation to Oceanside to coincide with the Ironman California 70.3. The run course passed by the property so it was perfect for the family to cheer our athlete. The property was very spacious and open. There was plenty of room and we never felt cramped. The location is perfect with quick access to major thourofares to shopping and restaurants.
Our wish list for the property would be easier access to the beach. We were fine with climbing down the rock wall but it could be easier (btw - no properties had easy access so there may be a city ordinance against building stairs.) -

My family and I stayed here for five days and absolutely loved it! Nothing
beats a house right on the beach with the sound of the waves crashing on the
shore waking you up every morning. The duplex was clean and very
accommodating for a large family with small children. The kitchen was
upgraded and functional. The barbeque and picnic area was really nice and the
hot tub was a big hit, too.
The rental company was great to work with and even called to see how we
were enjoying our stay.
We would definitely stay here again. It was perfect. -

My husband and I arrived before the rest of the family, we couldn't believe how really comfortable and relaxing the place was. When the family came all they could say was WOW!!! The little ones are two and four years old it was so easy for them to get to the sand and have a great time in the waves. We stayed at this beach front condo to celebrate our 25th wedding
anniversary. The time spent at this lovely condo far far exceeded our dreams
of what the experience would be like. The condo was spacious, clean, and
very comfortable to be in. The patio with jacuzzi, table with umbrella and easy
beach access was used frequently by our family. We had several gorgeous
sunsets and enjoyed dining at Ruby's at the end of the Oceanside pier. We

It was quite clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the ocean. Especially pleased with the abundance of paper/cleaning supplies and soft beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked. The property management responded quickly to our needs. The fake flowers in broken pots on the patio were a turnoff, but the real flowers and bushes were made a beautiful setting. Quite a nice stay!!

We had an amazing stay. The property was very well kept up, and we had everything we needed. It is so great having a washer and dryer- and the kids loved the hot tub! From our balcony we watched a gray whale swim 10 feet out from shore! Great running on the beach- and awesome bike trails along the ocean just a short distance away. After staying in Disneyland in a hotel for 4 days- it was great to come here and be able to make our own meals. A great walk is to the pier at Ruby's diner. We will definitely try and come back again.

Absolutely amazing this place was. Almost call it a piece of heaven, listening to the waves break on the beach all night long. The property was great, especially for the price. Clean, spacious, and convenient location made it perfect for a family, or a group of friends wanted to meet up. The Beachfront only people were extremely friendly and helpful. I would not hesitate to rent again from this group!

A couple of things might make viewing the ocean a bit easier. Since there is a balcony with a wooden slatted railing, viewing the ocean while sitting in any chair is difficult through the rails. If you were to put in some barstools, you would sit higher up and be able to see over the railing. The rails could be exchanged for plexiglass as well. A little privacy screen around the hottubs would also be nice if both tubs are being used at the same time. Otherwise, this is a very nice place.

My only complaint was that on the day before our stayed ended, a locksmith appeared unannounced beforehand. I was entertaining for lunch while he proceeded to remove the old door lock and install a new lock with drilling and then vacumning the door shavings.

Our beach vacation was so wonderful. The property particularly is great. We have kids that love that beach and want to stay out there all day. Some of us will go in and just watch them as we relax on the patio or in the spa. We love love this place. My kids tried to talk us to moving in! Dare to dream. Thank you for providing a wonderful vacation spot for us. We had everything we needed and if we didn't we found stores near by.

What a family fun vacation with the kids (ages 10-13) and also a romantic one with my husband. We played in the water and sand during the day and all watched the sunset every night. My husband and I would take a romantic walk in the moon light then hit the jaccuzzi while the kids would enjoy playing board games and watch movies.They can't wait to go back for the third year in a row. This beach house is a wonderful vacation for the whole family filled with wonderful memories.

I don't usually do people's jobs for them so I will make this quick. THe house is cheesy for cheesy guests I guess. Signs everywhere telling me what to do and how much it will cost me if I don't. I love this one: "Before you leave put in a load of laundry to help out the maids" I am there to help the maids?
Obviously the owners of this deal are in it for the money not to do a good job. How about put a garbage disposal in? I think someone told me there were place settings for 16? Barely 8 I found. Grout between tiles should be white just so you know.
I never heard from anyone running the place. It would be nice to have someone call to see how things were. But they already had the cash.
We ran out of alot of stuff they were supposed to provide trash bags etc. A remote to open the garage would be nice.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay. We have removed all of these signs and ask now only that you enjoy your stay and leave all laundry, dishes, etc, for the cleaning crew. Regarding the garbage disposal, we actually do not have them in any of our properties. This property would definitely only have settings for 8 because it is meant to sleep 8. All of our rentals have enough settings for the maximum amount of occupants. I grew up in this area and it was so great to be back at the beach after so many years away. This beach house was more than we hoped for. We had a wonderful time and plan to come back again some day.
