This upper unit has jut been remodeled inside and painted on the outside! Beautiful new counters and cabinets, new bathrooms, new tile and carpet in bedrooms! Views are amazing. Sit in your living room as you gaze out to the ocean! There is no road between this vacation rental and the ocean! The sand is just a few steps out your front door! There is a common area shared with the other 4 units in the complex, which includes a fire pit, lounge/patio furniture, putting green, and bbq area. This home is located in the coastal town of Oceanside, where the beaches are nothing short of spectacular, with wide sandy beaches and gorgeous waters year-r...ound. After a day at the beach, take a walk to the pier- wander down and either watch the surfers, go fishing, or take a sail boat out at the harbor. When it is time for dinner, there is an endless amount of delicious restaurants and cafes for you to choose from, but many choose to cook their meals at the vacation rental. Life doesn't get much better than having your close friends and family around, enjoying a glass of wine, preparing a scrumptious meal as you watch the sun go down on the horizon of the Pacific Ocean. Fall asleep to the sound of the lulling waves, wake up and do it again.

This vacation rental is a home away from home. Each room has character and everything is professionally decorated. You will find everything you need right in the rental, from beach towels to linens, to all the kitchen amenities you could need.   Excellent Location - Except for the ants!!

  We enjoyed our stay, but will likely look elsewhere to stay if we return. We had two major issues. One is the ants. We did an excellent job of cleaning up after ourselves, but with two small children, crumbs are bound to happen and the ants found them every time. Also, there is a gap between the bottom of the front door and the floor which became a problem when it rained. The carpet inside the front door ended up soaked out about 4 feet due to the carpet wicking. I wasn't upset about the rain, just the fact that the door isn't sealed enough to prevent the water from soaking the carpet. Also, the bathroom could use a curtain on the window in the shower. Based on the angle from the patio up above next door, they could easily look right in and see you showering. We had to open the window because there was no vent fan and the bathroom got too warm without it. The kitchen was equipped, but not overly equipped by any means. Just the basics. They advertise that you would be able to cook a Thanksgiving Dinner. Hardly. The refridgerator door handle needs to be switched to the other side, as it is awkward being on the left. They need to hang a towel rod by the master bathroom sink. The sofa needs replaced. Sleeper sofas aren't comfortable to start with, but its like sitting directly on the bed framing when you sit on the couch. The outside community area is very nice. The kids enjoyed the hot tub very much. If we return, we would probably look for something a little bigger and a little nicer.

  Stones throw from the ocean. Amazing views and sound from the ocean waves. Condo was clean and perfect for us. Lacks some vanity space for the ladies but I dealt with it. The bed was amazingly comfy. We went to Legoland about 10 minutes away- very fun. Kids enjoyed playing in the sand even thought it was cold. They attempted the ocean but it was too rough. Note to parents: bring lots of clothes for the kids- we went through 3 changes a day when playing on the beach. It's so damp the clothes do not dry when hung. A stackable washer and dryer would be great in this place! Overall had a great time, place was clean - nice people to work with. Thumbs up!

  40th Anniversary

  The property was clean, well equiped and ready for our arrival.
  The staff from management to housekeeping were terrific.

  Ocean sounds abound

  What a delightful location! The ocean was a welcome site from the window and the ocean sounds were glorious.
  The property had a couple silly features (for eg., no counter or towel rack by the master bedroom sink which was not located in the bedroom).
  The property company was very organized and attentive.
  The only negatives were the difficulty with parking as well as the check in/out times.

  My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed taking long runs down the beach towards Carlsbad and seeing all the beautiful homes and taking in the beauty of the Ocean. The property was clean, well appointed and the pillow,bed and towel were very nice & comfy. You don't really need to plan any activities because sitting on the porch taking in the ocean breeze will keep you mesmerized for hours. As luck would have it I was hot and the wife cold but Beachfront Only had the solution. Each room had both a fan and space heater in the closet so we didn't have to fight over the thermostat. Loved it and can't wait to come back with friends. Well worth the money.

  I suggest the refrigterator door is reversed.
  The en suite shower head is very low

  Our unit looked right out over the beach. The kids played in the water until their lips turned blue. Then they ran back to the hot tub and fire pit to warm up. We loved being able to watch the sunset from out deck or the common area. Due to a late snow stortm in Co. we even got to stay an extra day. The people at beachfrontonly were very occomodating and brought the extra paperwork over to us. They also call us prior to the trip to ensure we had the correct code to the unit or any other questions. The staff is always pleasant and professional.

  First of all we were happy that everything looked exactly as the pictures on the website. We were soo pleased with everything at 817A S. Pacific. Ave. The hot tub, the putting green, the fire pit were all enjoyed- especially the beach!!! Everyone at the location was very friendly- especially the workers that came daily to take care of the grounds. When we did have a problem with a lighting fixture, the problem was fixed within minutes. The service by the beachfrontonly staff was top notch. Can't wait to book our next visit!!!!

  Absolutely loved our week in Oceanside! The location of 817A was fantastic - just off the main public beach and Strand, yet still close enough to walk down the Strand and access amenities and vendors. There is nothing more peaceful than sleeping to ocean sounds! We also were able to enjoy some dolphins that were close to the surfers and "riding" the waves alongside them.
  While in Oceanside, don't miss the Asylum shops on Mission Ave and just a few miles south in Carlsbad is the best pizza ever - Pizza Port on Carlsbad Village Drive.
