This attached property features a 1 bedroom with an additional loft for extra sleeping space, with an open floor plan layout. You can watch the ocean and relax in the living space or from the Loft above. The living room also has a queen sized sofa sleeper. This beautiful home also features a pellet stove, perfect for taking off the evening chill, without the effort. This home sits just above the village of Oceanside and the beach access. There is an excellent restaurant called Rosanna's that you must try at least once! You may even smell those amazing concoctions as they are being made drifitng up.... There is also a great coffee shoppe called Brewin' in the Wind with WIFI.
The Oceanside beach has an opening to Lost Boy beach just through a small tunnel at the base of Maxwell Mountain. You can find many different "treasures" on the beach here. Just be sure to go at low tide...
Or head south and pick up a few sandollars on the beach before you reach Netarts Bay and the boat launch area. The Bay offers many activites: fishing, crabbing, and clamming for fresh seafood!
Beautiful and scenic, you will enjoy the wildlife: deer, bald eagles, seals in the surf, and pelicans. There are several hidden beaches where you can beachcomb and find agates and jasper too. Oh, and of course, the seashells!

Our family of four and our Jack Russell Terrier greatly enjoyed our stay at Gertie's Cabin. This sweetly and freshly remodeled two-bedroom (one bedroom is a loft) was perfect for us and our two teenaged boys. The ocean view of sea and stars was amazing and we enjoyed the short (but steep) walk down to Oceanside and (one of my favorite Oregon Coast) beach. Now that there are two actual restaurants in Oceanside, it makes the stay even more fun! Make sure you go through the tunnel (or around the rock if it's low tide) and see the "other" beach. It's very special. Oceanside Beach Rental is so very easy to work with and Heather is very responsive to calls and questions. The nightly rates are very reasonable for such a lovely place, and with a full beautiful kitchen and great dining area, why pay more for a hotel room? You'll have to go up the road toward Pacific City to get cell service, but that just adds to the sense of "vacation." The completion of the basement and access to a washer/dryer would make this rental ideal.

Newly remodeled home with great design and comfort. The view is lovely. One can take great walks from the back door or be on the beach within minutes. I will definitely stay at this home again!

This rental unit was impeccably clean, airy, and bright, beautifully designed and furnished. There was a fair amount of privacy. The view from the front porch overlooked the ocean from high up on the top of a hill-- incredible! There were 2-3 excellent restaurants in the very small town below, again with beautiful views of the ocean. The apartment even had a wireless internet connection, so I could use my laptop. Perhaps needless to say, the shore and countryside in the immediate vicinity was breathtaking.
