This home offers a beautiful place to relax with family and friends, with plenty of room for everyone. Oceanside is a coastal town in the greater San Diego county. It is the northern most town located just before camp pendleton on your way north to san clemente, orange county and los angeles. It is one of the flatter beach communities in San Diego and most visitors enjoy biking or walking to downtown, the farmers market on Thursdays, the harbor or any one of the local eateries, breweries, movie theatres, or other cultural offerings in the downtown area of Oceanside.

Wow! When you walk into this house, the view and openness will blow you away! We were looking for an affordable beach house that could accommodate 4 families ranging in ages from young children to seniors, and this was perfect! The house is large with an open floor plan on both levels making it very comfortable for a large group. We loved that each bedroom had its own bathroom. And the off-street parking accommodations were wonderful. Once we purchased our supplies and parked our cars in the garage, we never pulled them out again; just spent our days enjoying walks and bike rides along the strand, beach and pier! Perfect relaxation! The Surf Museum is easy to walk to, and great for learning about Bethany Hamilton's story, as well as surf and skateboard history. Stormy was flexible and great to work with! Thanks for a memorable get-away with our family, Stormy! The only disappointment were the bikes that were in the garage but unusable; however, that should be an easy fix.

This home was perfect for our large family! The open areas in the house were big enough to accommodate 14 adults to eat and watch tv/movies. The large 4-car garage was nice to be able to keep all our cars inside. We stayed for a week and enjoyed being able to walk across the street to the beach at anytime. The kids loved riding the bikes to the pier and around town and the boogie boards got a lot of use too. Stormy and Karen were great to work with and responded anytime we had a question or problem - both before and during our stay. The strand can get pretty busy at times, especially the public parking lot on the south side of the house. Having the parking lot on the side of the house wasn't our favorite, but didn't pose any real problems except for a little noise and traffic. We will definitely return for another stay!

We arrived at the house after driving down a beautiful frontage road leading to the last house on the Strand, "Our house" The first thing we noticed besides the beautiful beach to our right was the gorgeous deck overlooking the Pacific ocean. We pulled into the garage and noticed all of the beach and bike equipment to satisfy anyone...bikes, boogie boards, kites, pales, shovels, chairs, umbrellas.
Upon entering we noticed the big game/TV room with a big cozy couches. Perfect for the kids. We went upstairs and there was a sprawling kitchen, dining room and great room. Which drew us again to that deck ahhh we made it to heaven!! There were lounge chairs and a BBQ out there where I was already planning our first BBQ. The bedrooms were big and lovely. The master was especially nice with a huge bathroom and tub. The linens were of the highest quality and there were ample towels and beach towels as well. All you really need to bring is yourself and you'll be ready to sit back and enjoy.
We happen to be there on one of those gorgeous 3 day weekends so my husband surfed all day, my 5 yr. old played on the beach and my 2 teenage girls loved riding the bikes up and down the Strand. There is a lot of great people watching while I relaxed on the patio. A momma's dream vacation. I can't wait to go again.
And thank you Stormy for all the help with Legoland and finding the perfect restaurants to visit. See you again very soon.

Staying at this beachside home was wonderful! It is right on the ocean with a great balcony. The kitchen is amazing. Bikes and boogie boards were provided for our use. It was great fun taking the bikes out and riding around oceanside. Great people watching! The lower part of the home has a pool table and big screen tv. This is a great place for families to come together. The master suite is the best with a jacuzzi tub and large bathroom! Very romantic! I would definitely recommend this place.
