I have been going to Berni's for 6 years now on a regular basis and there. It has an incredible view and is in a great, central location in Oceanside. I have stayed in all three apartments and they are beautiful, well appointed and extremely comfortable. We actually considered buying a property in Oceanside at one point and decided that since we had Berni's we didn't need to. We consider it our second home.

We've been coming to Bernie's for years--We love it! Whether just the two of us or with friends, The Homestead is a spacious place to spread out, relax, and enjoy the stunning views. The open kitchen is well stocked for folks who really cook--and doing dishes isn't a chore when you're gazing at the sunset! You'll love it!

This was my 5th stay at Bernis Castle in the Crow's Nest unit and I just love it. Perfect location and the best views in Oceanside! Good value for a two bedroom unit and the basics are all included. Some of the details could be updated a bit (kitchen utensils, pillows/linens), but overall everything is nice for a short or extended stay (my stay was a month).
I'll be back and have recommended Bernis Castle to many folks! -

I have only stayed in the large unit at Bernie's Castle. It is perfect for a group of people. The fact that the place is basically one giant window overlooking the beach makes this my number reason for staying here. The kitchen is built for cooks too! I have stayed here 3 times and each time I have had an amazing time. I would highly recommend this place over any motel. Love it!!!
