This particular unit has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms with a large deck overlooking the ocean. 1 car garage, fireplace, and internet access. The common area has a bonfire pit great for those summer nights with the family. Walking distance to the Oceanside pier and/or visit the Oceanside Harbor for their great shops, restaurants, and boat excursions. It was raining hard when we arrived and the wind had blown water under the main bedroom do to the outside. It was cold but the furnace did not work nor did the internet connection that was supposed to be available. The rental agent (Barbara McLain) did a great job in getting the furnace repaired and trying to get the internet connection working.
The couch was impossible to sit on comfortably it was so broken down. The light over the dining table was inadequate. The dining chairs were in bad shape. The arm of one chair was almost off. There were only two places to read in the living room (there were 7 people staying there). Until the problems mentioned have been corrected, I could not give a positive evaluation. -

During the off season we had a great price on our vacation home and were able to check in bit early. The view of the ocean is spectacular, the space adequate but quite old furniture and appliances. Needed to clean the kitchen before stocking with out food. Our door space was wonderful and a great place for our children of various ages to be safe and have fun. My husband is handicapped and there were three steps which at that time he was able to do. But a perfect place for him to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. We all still talk of the wonderful family memories that were created for a life time. Thank you to the wonderful staff that we dealt with at Barbara McLain Properties.
