Our home is a spacious 2854 sq. ft., 3-story, single family house with 3 bedrooms (one king, one queen, two full mattresses), 2.5 baths; has a bonus room with a pool table; a family sitting room with cable TV; and a living room with a 50" HDTV (where the sofa converts to a full size sleeper). The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped and there is a propane BBQ grill outside. The property is decorated in an elegant, yet comfortable tropical style. You will sleep in luxury hotel quality beds, linens and towels included. The house is kept in immaculate condition.

Our location is a great vacation base with easy access to the freeway (you are a minute drive to Interstate 5 and the Coast Hwy interchange) to visit the attractions in So. California. We have a binder filled with visitor's information and we can assist you with ideas. We also have lots of beach amenities...portable chairs, sand umbrella, bikes, boogie boards, buckets, fishing poles, ice chest, etc. in our attached 2-car garage.

Fantastic location, just a few blocks from Oceansides beachfront and marina. A really comfortable and well equiped family home from home with lots of family space and some super features that made it a 10 out of 10 for the stay; such as the fire pit on the roof, great for toasting marshmallows and having some memorable night time fun making s'mores. The games table in the front room for a game of chess at the end of the day with the kids, and the pool table to keep the kids occupied and not in front of the TV. Well equipped kitchen, with staples, well equipped garage with beach chairs and boogey boards, lots of towels, and lots of beach towels, super fast wifi, and multi format TV and DVD player for a night time movie, laundry essential for not travelling with too much luggage, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms. Nothing left out. Easy to follow useful making the house work instructions. Close proximity to San Diego, and all the coastal attractions. Just Brilliant. Owner Jody was very easy to deal with, everything efficient and organised.

I am a part of a women's group that gets together quarterly in different areas to relax and rejuvenate. We decided on Oceanside and found this beautiful home to rent for 4 days in March. Jody, the owner, was so friendly, helpful and attentive. She gave us wonderful restaurant recommendations and all the instructions we needed to seamlessly enter and enjoy her house. The house is beautifully maintained and had plenty of space for our gathering. Jody stocks it with all the amenities you could ask for including kitchen supplies, condiments and spices, bathroom supplies, bikes, boogie boards, beach towels, BBQ, etc. All you have to do is bring your clothes and you're all set! The house is only a few blocks to a beautiful beach and there are great restaurants also in walking distance. My favorite parts of the house were the pool table and the fire pit on the upstairs porch. We will definitely stay here any time we are in the area. Thank you Jody!

We have stayed at this house for three successive winters(3 months a time). Every year was just like coming home. Jody is a marvelous host who not only makes you feel at home, but if a problem arises (seldom), she fixes it immediately. She even decorates the house for Christmas including a tree. The house is spacious and comfortable. The extras are way above average. The location is great for walking to the beach, movie theater, restaurants, downtown or driving to San Diego and other tourist spots in the area. It is less than an hour to get to the wine country of Temecula. I would highly recommend this house to anyone staying a weekend, a week, a month, or an entire winter. Thanks, Jody for making our winters in California a memorable experience

I have stayed in vacation rentals before but never like this one! Everything from the furnishings to the dishes to the bath towels were first class. In fact, I contacted the owner and found out which towels she used and which silverware pattern she had and bought them as soon as I got home--very luxurious! We were here for a girls' weekend and rarely even left the house! The pool table was really nice and the patio area was very nice, too. I wish Jody would come and decorate my home! This place is also close to the beach and shops and restaurants.
