The master bedroom is spacious and bright with great views of the bay and access to its own en suite bathroom. The second bedroom is located on the same upper level floor that opens on to a private patio and features a climb up loft that sleeps two. We had the pleasure of staying here in Spring 2012. My friend girl and I have traveled 3-4 times per year to Jamaica for years. We've visited various parishes, but love Ochi! Through our travels we have stayed many places (resorts, villas, private homes, local hotels, and with family). We've come to love staying in privately owned condos like Mr. France's property at Fisherman's Point. It was roomy and the location can't be beat! We look forward to our next visit where we hope #27 will be available! Oh yes, our housekeeper was awesome and kind! Ms. Brooks was efficient. Mr. France was a pleasure to do business with and made us feel welcome. Thank you. Bless.

This condo is a part of Fisherman's Point Resort. A central and convenient location to all that Ocho Rios has to offer. Check-in with Mrs. Brooks went smoothly and the security guards were very nice. Everything that was discussed with Mr. Rance including arranging airport transfers and providing me with a cell phone to use while in Jamaica were fulfilled. This was my first time going the rental route so I am pleased that all went well.
Apartment 27 felt like a home away from home. It was very spacious and met our needs for the most part. Miss Jackie, the housekeeper was very pleasant and diligent in cleaning the apartment daily. The issues we encountered with the apartment were minor but if upgraded would really increase the potential of it and comfort for guests:
-Both Showers need more than a shower curtain since a lot of water tends to spill out while showering. Adding glass doors might do the trick. A shower caddy inside the shower must be added to put items used while bathing. It was very inconvenient not having it.
-TVs with cable need to be put in both bedrooms. Only the television in the living room had cable which was inconvenient at night. In addition, there was no dvd player or radio as listed in amenities.
-The view from the patios were great but adding mesh would be more comfortable and prevent insects.
-Fisherman's Point needs to upgrade their pool area and keep it clean. The current condition it was in is not suitable to swim in.
-There are lots of stairs so I don't recommend this condo for elderly travelers or those with disabilities.
Despite the issues we encountered, Our trip was wonderful. Jamaica is one of my favorite islands to visit and I'll definitely be back. For the value and location, I would stay here again if these things were addressed. -

We can't describe the excellent value, location and attentiveness we received from the time we sent our first inquiry on the property up to when we checked out. Mr Rance, Mrs Brooks and our housekeeper Miss Jackie made us feel so very very welcome, comfortable. My children (3 teens and 1 8 year old) loved the loft style bedroom, with its ample space and Mr Rance was so very accommodating to ensure our comfort was his number one priority. We were able to host our daughters 17th birthday here entertaining our friends without any issues, there is ample space and the sleeping quarters are very comfortable. The breeze off the sea more than made up for no a/C on the main floor. This is our second trip to Ocho Rios this year and we will definitely be returning to this property again with its close proximity to the beach, onsite pool, laundry facilities, close to shopping, everything about it we all loved and we were very sad to leave. Thanks everyone and particularly Mr Rance for making our family vacation amazing.
