The Big White Villa is located just 2 miles away from the town of Ocho Rios , at the historical Rio Nuevo battle site, where the final battle between the British and Spanish forces was fought in 1658, to determine possession of Jamaica . Near and around Ocho Rios you will find many other famous attractions like the Dunns River Fall where you can swim in the river, find caves behind falls and mini-whirlpools. Don't miss the Dolphin Cove, where you can swim with dolphins, sharks and stingrays! Mystic Mountain is located on rain forest terrain 700 feet above sea level and features a bobsled coaster ride and an aerial tramway canopy tour. At the Prospect Plantation Tour you will discover how a plantation site works, as well as enjoy open-aired carriage rides, horseback and camel rides; there is also a wonderful butterfly aviary and you can even feed the ostriches. • We accept payments both in US dollars and GB pounds sterling.
• For all bookings over 5 nights we offer a traditional Jamaican breakfast complimentary on your first morning.
• To confirm your booking we ask for a 25% deposit of the total value due.
• We also request for a security deposit. This is fully refundable within 14 days of departure, provided everything is in order with the property and its contents. .
• The balance due should be paid up to 30 days prior to arrival. If the reservation is less than 30 days, the entire amount is due immediately. .
• Rates quoted are for a maximum of 14 guests. [and are based on double occupancy per room]

From the second we arrived to the second we left, was absolutely breathtaking. The house was in a gated and secured community. The immaculate home furnishings - just gave the look and feel of paradise. Exactly what we were searching for as a relaxing getaway vacation! There is a beach located right in front of the house and it's about a 3 min walk to get down there once u walk down the stairs. The view is just gorgeous. The ever so kind and helpful staff were there at our every waking need! Everything we needed was taken care of. The cook made all of our meals just unforgettable. True taste of Jamaican cuisine. I do recommend renting a car! but we took the taxi which was just fine. We had an excellent taxi driver named Dale who drove us everywhere. I 100% recommend him. He is honest and loyal and was always there on time to pick us up.
Our stay in the Big White Villa, made our family vacation to Jamaica unforgettable and we are just counting down the days until we can return.
We thank Cynthia Lusack for allowing us to stay in her beautiful villa.
We will definitely be coming back!

We had an amazing time at the villa with any possible comforts e perfect service. The house is fully furnished, with great level of detail and taste; huge rooms with own bathroom, air conditioning, tv, internet... everyting; the staff looking after the house were great (cleaning lady and maintainance guy). A pool is just a bliss during hot Jamaican days but even better - the local beach is 2 minutes away down a fly of stairs. The town of Ocho Rios is 10 minutes' drive away so if you have a car it works perfectly.
We had the unfortunate situation of being there during the hurricane and we suffered no damage- the house is robust and there is a generator.

We had a wonderful week here and would definitely come back again. We stayed in the pool suite which was very convenient and just the right size although could have done with a freshen up compared to the rest of the house which we were shown around. We would love to come again and bring friends and stay in the big house. The amenities were great and Ricky looked after us well. You must have a car when staying here and you will find it a great base to travel from. We were a bit hesitant as there was no credit card or paypal facility to pay but everything went smoothly ...Thanks Cynthia !

We had an amazing week stay at The Big White Villa with family and friends. It was the best Christmas holiday away from home!
The luxurious and tranquil villa was festively decorated and provided something for every age group in our gathering, from children to seniors. The modern facilities, wireless internet, Wii gaming system, pool, heated jacuzzi, and cable television were all wonderful amenities enjoyed at our home away from home. The Villa offers spectacular seaviews from almost any vantage point. The gazebo, patios and beautifully flowering garden enhanced our relaxation.
Our accommodation in the apartment nearest the pool was great! We had our own cooktop, refrigerator, dutch oven, cable television, private bathroom, comfortable king size bed and patio. An added bonus was that We could access the wireless internet while sitting on our patio that was just steps away from all of the action in the pool. This villa allowed us the time to spend with the family and yet still enjoy our privacy.
With the Villa location in a secured gated community across the street from the Rio Nuevo Battle site Memorial Park and just an easy 10 minute ride from Ocho Rios, we were able to enjoy the privacy of our family holiday gathering and the activities that make Ocho Rios world reknown...the World Famous Dunn's River Falls! It was great having the brochures and information on local activities in the Villa.
As a family, we had the best times snorkeling and sailing on the Cool Runnings Catamaran. The younger adults enjoyed a night out at Margaritaville and Christmas Eve in downtown Ochi. The Staff at the Villa were quite welcoming and helped to make our vacation a memorable one. Thanks to Dal and Cynthia for sharing their beautiful Villa with others along with a little bit of Jamaican history. Oh the memories we will have for years to come! We look forward to visiting again soon. Yeah Mon!

What can I say.,.. Perfection! From the decor, the location, the staff everything was perfect. The villa catered for our every need. There was a wii for the kids (and those brave adults who didn't mind the humiliation), a family safe pool with a shallow end for the less confident swimmers and a cinema size tv, although we hardly spent time watching it.
The best part about the villa is that we could all stay together. It really helped that we had separate apartments so we didn't feel like we were on top of each other. Definitely recommend this villa for family reunions or group bookings.Response from mrs cynthia lusack - 01/27/2012

Beautiful villa in a fantastic location.The villa has lots of space so can easily accommodate large groups of people without feeling like you are on top of each other!! The villa boasts an impressive 4 bathrooms and a separate loo! The villa is set in its own grounds with a beautiful view of the sea.
The local shops are minutes away with easy access to the main strip where you can access more shops, bars, restaurants and the famous Turtle beach.
The grounds are stunning with a pool perfect for lounging and sunbathing in the day and relaxing with a glass of wine at night!

my family of 6 visited the resort for spring break last year from atlanta, my four children (6,8,10,12) had a blast and want to go back again.i couldn't get my 8yr old (who's autistic)out of the jacuzzi, we are seriously considering returning soon as the house,food and hospitality was out of this world,we recommend it highly to any one wanting to take their family to a peaceful,safe not to mention beautiful resort. "The big white villa" is big in our hearts.

I would strongly recommend the Big white villa as the perfect place for those laid back souls who like being away from the city and prefer to live among the locals. I love this place!!! It was as beautiful as it is pictured. It was quite and cozy and cool. I liked having my own pool, and jacuzzi!!! Since I prefer to to prepare my own food, I had a full kitchen/dining area, awesome!!!. The staff were friendly, helpful and wonderful. Thank you aretha for handling my internet needs immediately.
I would have stayed longer if i have made better arrangements. I will be back to this place next time I come to Ocho Rios

This is a great place for you to spend with your family. We rented out the whole villa and everyone was comfortable and also had their own space. What I really enjoyed about this option was that we were able to enjoy the family when we had meals together, played wii, went swimming, or just sat around and chatted. It was so safe, clean, and comfortable.
The only down side is that the villa is outside of the city and so you need to hire a driver to take you to the main tourist attactions (Dunn's Falls, shopping, etc). I also was not a fan of having to grocery shop for the food, but the staff really helped finding the foods we liked to eat.
Bottom line...it was such a great experience overall and what a way to just get away and relax with the family!!!Response from mrs cynthia lusack - 05/12/2011

The Villa is simply perfect, a stunning location with breath taking views and beautifully decorated rooms, a real home from home experience and one that none of us will forget.
Anne Marie the house keeper is a true star, She helped us everyday and even cooked for us,. She even came shopping with us.I think the grounds of the villa are lovely to,with a perfect size clean pool (just the right temperature) and jacuzzi to, there is plenty of space to have some peace and quiet on one of the many balconies .I had my wedding at the villa it was my perfect day, The Hairdresser was superb, the chef did an outstanding job with complements for the best ever
soup!!,the decoration was beautiful and bought a tear to my eye,very impressed. The master bedroom is amazing and you feel like a VIP! a moment I will cherish.
I was happy with the cost of everything and I would highly recommend your services to others.
