A turn of the nineteenth century shingle style cottage built in 1899 by the Stearns family of Cincinnati, this Ogunquit ME Bed & Breakfast sits on a slight knoll with commanding views of the Atlantic, midway along the Marginal Way, a mile-long beautiful ocean-side footpath from Ogunquit Village to Perkins Cove, but in a quiet highly residential area. You can hear the surf crashing against the rocks from almost every room in Rockmere Lodge.

The spacious grounds around this Ogunquit Bed & Breakfast Inn boast extensive flower gardens w...ith fountains, a goldfish pond and statuary that reflect the way your hosts imagine Rockmere Lodge, an Ogunquit ME B&B;, would have looked at the turn of the nineteenth century. You are invited to stroll the grounds, bask in the sun, enjoy the cool sea breeze in our screen enclosed Gazebo overlooking the water or just sit in the shade on an Adirondack chair or relax on our Pagoda swing.

The sweeping veranda that wraps around the entire front of the house is graciously appointed with comfortable wicker furniture, making it an inviting place to sit and enjoy the ocean view, nap, read or meet new friends.

Breakfast is served on the front porch in season and in the formal dining room in front of the fireplace during the off season. We serve a full breakfast consisting of perhaps waffles, blueberry pancakes, French toast, omelets, accented with fruit, yogurt, English muffins, toast, homemade muffins, etc. Along with coffee we also offer a large variety of teas from basic to exotic blends. Some great conversation and new friends have been made during breakfast on this porch.

The interior of Rockmere Lodge is constantly changing to give our guests a relaxing stay with us. Each room is individually decorated and differs from the next. See our gallery. Rockmere Lodge offers unique Ogunquit Lodging Services such as our spacious living room open for your comfort and enjoyment. You are invited to relax here and, during the cooler months, bask in the heat of a crackling fire in front of our beautiful Italian tile fireplace. Also the Lookout on the third floor features some of the best views of the Atlantic around.

Rockmere is located in a secluded part of town off the main roads,with off street parking for our guest and direct access to the Marginal way, A foot path along the ocean, There are Many Fine Dining establishment, as well as various little gift shop to browse both in town and Perkins Cove, We are located approximately half a mile from Perkins Cove or the Center of Town , and the public sandy beach.

All Rooms Are 2 Night Minimum, rates are as Follows
PRE - SEASON- Mon - Thurs.--$135 To $155----- Fri,Sat,and Sun-$150 To $175 per night
IN SEASON---------Mon - Sun -$185 To $235 per night (These rate Apply On )
POST SEASON---Sun - Thurs--$165 to $180 per night ----- Fri,Sat,and Sun-$175 To $190 per night
OFF SEASON------Mon - Thurs.--$135
A deposit to cover the first night's stay is required at time of reservation, except two nights deposit required for five days or more. Reservations will be held until 5:00 p.m. unless notified of late arrival. Cancellations made 10 days or more prior to arrival will guarantee refund of deposit minus a $65.00 cancellation fee for each room reserved. If cancellation is made less than 10 days prior to arrival, deposit will be forfeited. If cancellation is made less than 10 days prior to arrival and there is a minimum stay requirement, the total for the minimum stay will be charged. If cancellation is made less than 24 hours prior to arrival, the total for the stay will be charged. We make every attempt to have you as a guest at Rockmere Lodge and look forward to having you book a future date with us if a problem should arise with your current reservation date.
