Villa Elza is on the very shore of Lake Ohrid, in the fishermen’s neighborhood of Kaneo. In its three bedrooms on the upper floor, the house has seven beds and two bathrooms. The main bedroom and the small terrace overlook the lake. The roomy, old-fashioned kitchen boasts all modern facilities, including a dishwasher and a washing machine. The large living room overlooking the lake is connected with the two terraces, the lower of the two being used as a private beach. The house has Internet and cable TV.

Our extended family had a wonderful stay at Vila Elza.
We enjoyed the welcome by our fabulous hoasts with traditional Macedonian pita, the cute and pleasant townhouse , swiming of the dock and the fishermen village.Most of all the excellent macedonian home cooking of Gabie ,from her side by side authentic restaurant , (make sure you try each meal )as well the drives by her husband Iran ,in his boat" Captain Cook" to nearby places as well teaching our son how to fish and then treat us with their catch! Real Macedonian hospitality that can not be easily sure passed and we have travelled many places around the world ...
We truly felt welcome and will miss Ohrid. Also we recommend the best !!! Ice Coffee / cappuccino and the rest In the coffee shop in downtown Ohrid ' 'Galerija' ' - make sure to visit! -

Our stay in Villa Elza was short (3 nights, two days) but what a cool one it was! Everything was arranged perfectly for us by our host: from the parking of our car to the transport by boat. The house is very close to the historical center of Ohrid, so the many churches and other historical monuments can be visited by foot. We loved the house (felt like being at home straight away!), the sunny terrace and the lake view. The fact that there are no roads passing by is a definite plus, it is very quiet at night. We will come again!

Great location on the lake shore. The house has stunning architecture. We went there twice with our 1,5-2 years old son and spend great time. The only problem that we had was 50 m. of the path. Those 50 meters are not adjusted for a baby carriage.

I have been in Villa Elza for a few years. It's the place where I immediately felt as home, it's clean and comfortable.It is in a great location and I especially loved the private beach that the house posses. I truly recommend this house to everyone who would like to have the perfect family vocation.

The most beautiful villa on the shore of the lake, amazing and intimate place to spend your summer vacation in Ohrid. Romantic as well in winter with fireplace and magical view of the lake and the monastery St.Kaneo.
