Lotza studios are located in the picturesque village of Finikia, on the north western side of the island, a 15 minute walk away from the center of Oia, the world-renowned for its views of the Santorini sunset. White houses with low doors, rounded roof, arched passages and its horizontal lines, Finikia is a delightful calm contrast to the wild of the Caldera side. In Finikia you will also find some traditional Cycladic churches and many cave houses that the island is renowned for. Lotza was originally built more than 200 years old and recently restored, although we are having a renovation in 2005, without losing any charm of traditional archit...ecture. Walking distance from our studios are recommended restaurants, super market, bakery, rental car, bus stop and more...

Lotza studios are beautifully appointed and tastefully decorated in warm shades and features one double bedrooms, small living room with fully equipped kitchenette, one bathroom with shower, air-conditioning (cooling/ heating), hair dryer, refrigerator coffee maker, toaster, TV and Free Internet access.

We can accommodate up to twelve persons, in five charming studios, all have double beds as well as one single bed on the sofa. We do have as well one large studio with one double bed and two single beds. Each house sleeps between 2 and 4 people and is serviced every day. Our guests enjoy views over the Aegean Sea and the garden from their private or shared verandas. We do offer sunned chairs and furnished sitting areas around the garden.

Additionally all our guests have access to our main small swimming pool and the outdoor Jacuzzi (not heated).

The nearest restaurant is at 100 meters, the nearest super market and bus stop is at 100 meters and the nearest beach is at 1.5 kilometers from our settlement. Oia village is 15 minutes walking distance from our houses and offers a range of shops, galleries restaurants and travel agencies. Medical center, pharmacy, car and bike hire and spas can be find in Oia. There are 2 ATM machine, taxis and a public bus between the village and the main town of Fira (14 kilometers). Lotza is 17 kilometers from the airport and 22 kilometers from the port.

Additional Location Information

Finikia is ten kilometres away from Fira, towards the north-western part of the island. It is a small, beautiful traditional village with only fifty permanent residents and it has an impressive entrance which, as you will notice, is a high arched gateway made of dark volcanic stones. It took its name from the tall palm tree which is outside the church of Agia Patrona since Finikia in Greek means palm tree. The houses with the low doors, the rounded roofs and the arched passages were traditionally made by farmers many of whom worked at the vineyards on the island's terraced, northern plateau. In Finikia you will also find some traditional Cycladic churches and many cave houses that the island is renowned for.

Walk along the vineyards and light a candle at the chapels of Agia Kyriaki and Agios Konstantinos.

Cancellation Policy & Reservation
A deposit of 30% of the total rate is require to reserve a house
Any cancellation within 21 days prior to arrival results in 50% payment of the entire booking.
Any cancellation within 7 days prior to arrival, or non-show, or departure prior to the scheduled one, results in 100 % payment of entire booking.
Cancellation related payments are charged on the given credit card number.

  Loved the white-washed, medieval neighborhood and modernized stone dwellings. Great to be able to cook a meal or two and to be able to walk into Oia (about 20-30 minutes). We had the whole complex to ourselves with the common area being the walled outdoor patio. Very friendly, accommodating owners and staff. A little tough to find - the directions get you to parking, but definitely arrange a meet there on arrival! Not for the physically challenged - parking is a 10-minute bag drag away from the studios along an uneven, rolling stone alley. Wifi was fine near the office, but not on the lower level (where 2 of the studios are located). Evenings were occasionally noisy (disco or teens - never figured it out), The atmosphere and location (and excellent price) definitely rendered any small annoyance of that sort insignificant. Recommend a stay.
